i have had a sugar glider for three weeks now and she still won't let me hold her. i've tried holding a walnut on my hand but she just steals the walnut and runs off. i tried to hold her while she was occupied with her nut but she kinda attacked me. i don't want her to be unsocialized because i don't think i'll get the full enjoyment out of her. Please help me. She's the cutest thing and when you look into her big buggy eyes you just want to hug her. oh yeah, she's a little under a year old if that helps

okay well first off, sugar gliders are somewhat wild animals... i mean when you walk on the street and see a rabbit, its not gonna come running to you just bc you have a carrot in your hand... so u have to get her adjusted to you first... you have to let her know you dont want to harm her in anyway, as soon as she realizes that she probably wont be as shy... but my brother he made a pouch for his... its like out of felt but if you put her in that you can hold em, cuddle em, or w/e and they wont try to excape b/c they feel safe in that pouch... soo if you dont already have one of those make it... and then once she learns youre harmless, she should get pretty attached!! hope i helped!!
