hey im gunna get an ipod mini and i heard songs are $.99 each..do they have tax? lol and can you delete songs? like if i already used all the 1,000 songs but i wanna replace some of the songs can you do that? thx! (link)
It shouldn't have a tax. And rather than deleting the songs, copy them to your hard drive from your ipod and then delete them on your ipod - that way, you'll still have the songs, just not on your ipod.

And don't bother buying music - at a dollar per song, it's like buying a whole cd in small pieces. Borrow cd's from your friends and rip mp3's from those, or pirate it off the 'net. Disclaimer: that's illegal.

And in response to the question you asked in your feedback to me, the answer is maybe. It's not illegal to rip music from cd's that you own, but it is illegal to rip music from cd's that you borrow. Think of it this way, though - you will never get caught copying your friends' cd's.
