You don't "need" you "want" there is a difference.
-"how"... What? What do you mean how? How is there a difference between a need and a want? A need is something you can't live without - a want is something you desire - but can go without for awhile. This is a want, not a need. You will not die if you are not engaged in a shallow relationship.
