I really like my new boyfriend alot. He's my first & we have a great time together. However, I'm deathly afraid of a broken heart. I know I should live a little & not be afraid but I can't help it. Now I have the urge to break things off with him before he breaks up with me. What should I do? Can anyone who's experienced lend a helping hand?
Thank You! (link)

The only reason that you should be afraid of having your heart broken is if you feel that your relationship with your boyfriend is not strong. If you think that everything is going great, then there is no reason to be afraid of a broken heart. Believe it or not, some guys are into long term relationships and will hold on to their girlfriend for a while. If you two have a strong relationship, then there is no need to worry about him breaking up with you, so you don't need to break up with the guy. If you're really worried, then maybe talk to him for reassurance that he's still really into you. However, if you feel like the relationship is going downhill, talk to your boyfriend... and if you really feel that you should break up and you're afraid of having your heart broken, then break up with him. But it sounds like you don't have to worry about that right now. just enjoy your relationship... don't worry about it unless you feel something is wrong. I hope that helps!! Ask me for anything else!
