I don't know if any one remembers me, i asked the question if i should dumb my boyfriend because all my friends said he was wearidand an @$$. Well i didn't, thanks to all you, we kissed for the first time the other night at a party now everybody is convinced that i'm on crack or something. What sould i do? I've tryed talking to my friends and they keep going on and on about how stupid i am to be going out with him. please i really need help!
The important thing here is that he makes you happy.
If your friends think he's a jerk, who cares! Though I've never been in the situation, I'd imagine it's probably rough having your friends not agree with your decision. Then again, if they really are your friends, they should be happy with any decision you make. The way I see it, they're either really protective of you and care about you (in this case you should have a talk with them maybe individually and tell them that he's a great guy and you are truly happy with him), or maybe they're just jealous that you even have a boyfriend! Just do what is right for you and what makes you happy. Like I said, if they were true friends, they would learn to dea with it. Keep him. To me, anyway, he sounds like great guy.
