ok, i've like this guy for a LONG time, 3 years. We've become better friends over the past 3 years since i liked him and i don't know if he likes me. We see each other at school but only in 3rd period but we talk most of the time since it's art. any ideas? i know i DON'T want to tell him how i feel, it would make everything so much harder and more awkward. If you think i should keep flirting, tell me some ideas. I'm 14, and he's 14. I'm a cheerleader and he's a football player but there isn't ne more games b/c the season is over. should i give up on this guy or stick to it?

If you've liked this guy for 3 years, I don't think you should waste those 3 years and give up. Just keep flirting with him. You might get some of your friends to find out if he likes you. The way I got up the courage to tell the guy I liked was asking him who he liked when I talked to him on the internet. When I asked him who he liked, he would just give me clues. But finally when he asked me who I liked I said you. And I got my friends to find out if he liked me or not. And because I payed attention to him he had liked me the whole time. He was just to shy to show it. So what I'm saying is get up the courage to tell him you like him. If he's really a true friend, if when you tell him how you feel he doesn't feel the same way, he'll understand. Just keep flirting with him and throw hints at him when you can. And then hopefully you will be able to tell him how you feel. I promise you, it's all worth the wait in the end.
