Q: I was in a mental institution and I got really close to one of the staff members that worked there, she helped me in every way possible and I thought of her as my mom. Since I have been out it seems like everytime I call the hospital to talk to her, they make an excuse for me to NOT talk to her. Last night my sister looked her up on the internet and come to find out, she lives a mile away from me, and I have her home phone number, I mailed her a christmas card this morning to her home, but I dont know if I should actually call her at home. I miss her so much and she made such a big impact in my life, what do I do? I don't want her to think that I am like stalking her or anything! ???????

Call her and tell her just what you told all of us.. be like i want to thank you for all of your help and i hope we dont lose touch ect.. but if u dont mind my asking... why were u in a mental institution..

I tried to kill myself and I was a cutter. I did not want to go back to my mom so everytime they tried sending me to her, i attempted suicide. It was stupid, but all of the staff told me that i was the most SANE one there and I didnt belong there.
