my bf just told me he was a pothead...and hes been doing it for almost a year. and we've been going out for more than a year, i dont know what to do. hes lied to me for so long. i told him if he did it i'd dump him but he did it anyway. i only said that so maybe he wouldnt do that but it didnt work. idk what to do. im so confused and idk. please help. and dont tell me to dump him because i cant. i love him too much to do that. no matter what he does. He hasn't told you because he is scared to and obviously want s to stop. The problem is that just because you say stop, he can't stop just like that. It won't work. Tell him you can help him and gradually help him cut down. Keep him busy, go shopping, cinema or just out so he spends less and less time on his own, leading him to smoke pot. It will work out, you just have to let him know you are there for him and can help.
