ok, i have three really good friends that are girls. (lets call the jane, lacy, and kacy) jane goes through guys like a kid eating candy! every week (just about) she calls me to tell me about her new boyfriend. lacy and kacy both are in a long term relationship, and have had a long term relationships before. i have never had a boyfriend, never held hands, kissed.... and i am feeling really left out! one of my guy friends likes my best friend, and i feel so jealous! i dont have a "crush" right now...i dont throw my heart out there. my cousins both have boyfriends, and are bringing them to Christmas at my house. i am feeling really jealous and left out...any tips? what do guys look for in a girl? sorry this is so long...its just very important to me. the best thing you can do is just be yourself. Do you ever feel like you have to pretend to act cool or be someone else because you think that will attract guys? You have to learn to love yourself and be relaxed arround them. As soon as you do they will start to relax too and want to get to know you. I am really shy too and quite often people think that the people who seem really stand-offish and stuck-up are the big-headed ones when in fact they are shy just like you and me. I found that after I went out a couple of times with friends who I told my problems to, they helped me relax more. One big thing is to smile loads which I'm sure you do anyway just not when you're nervous. As soon as you smile you will look ten times more happy and approachable. It worked for me and hope it works for you!
