Q: Hi you guys... i don't really know where to start. i'm head over heels for one of my best friends (my best guy friend). and i don't know what to do. sometimes, when we're talking and it's late at night, i come so close to telling him, just because i'd like to know if i have a chance. but then part of me is afraid. he has a girlfriend at the moment, and i don't want to ruin anything between them. i found out a few days ago that he used to think we had the potential to be soulmates, that's definitely how i feel. and have felt. i just don't know if he still feels like that and i'm really afraid to ask. so, all wise advice givers, what do i do?

I honestly wish I had a great answer for you, to make myself seem great for overcoming one of the hardest situations in relationships...but I can't. I can tell you what's happend to me, and I'm going to try to make it as quick as possible, because I know how much people hate to hear other people's stories...when all you really want is your own fixed. This has actually happend to me...3 times. As I sit here and say this, I know none of this is going to help you. But, don't screw up his relationship. It's not worth it. Because then you're destroying someone's happiness to gain your own. As much as it hurts, just let it take it's course. Yeah, don't deny your feelings, but also don't try and shove your tongue down his mouth. If it is meant to work out...then it eventually will, until then, you have to suffer with the ache that is in your heart. Sometimes, though, it wasn't meant to work out. And that's just life. And tommorow, it's still gonna be roate.
