Farren's advice column

My mission on Advicenators is to be honest. People lie when they answer because they want to be rated high, but I think people ask strangers on Advicenators things because they want an honest answer.
My alias is Farren, and I'm in 9th grade. I think I'm mature for my age, but that could just be self-dilusion. I believe that everyone is in some way self-dilusional. So yeah, ask me a question if you want.

Ok, i like this guy, he's not in any of my classes but i see him in the halls all the time. I really want to get to know him but i am VERY shy, what should i do to???

Okay, down to the matter at hand, first thing you need to do is check if any of your friends know him and could introduce you. If you have no one, then you must abandon your shy nature and say hello to him. Smile and laugh and maybe pick up a conversation after school, when there's more time, saying something like "Oh hey! You're the guy I met today!" and continue.
Last resort, follow spike's advice.
