It's become a trend in my area for some very ignorant people to steal campain signs from public and private yards. Basically, all of the Kerry/Edwards signs have come up missing only to be found dumped with big W's spray painted on them. I am disgusted by this, as I'm sure any self respecting Bush supporter would be too. I am for Kerry, but I would never think of imposing on anyone's right to speak out for the candidate that they believe in.
It's gotten quite bad. I took a two minute walk down the road and saw three or four Kerry/Edwards signs. Four hours later they were all missing.
I want to express my views with a few signs in my yard, but I do not want them to be vandalized. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could go about doing this?
I think that you should type a letter saying what you just said almost exactally because I really liked how you worded it, and staple it to the front of kerry edwards signs and put them back where they were when the vandles did stuff to them. Then we'll see what happens, but this will all be over with in a few days thank god (well only if Kerry wins :) Go Kerry!

Thanks for the compliment on how I worded it. Although it's too late to take your advice now, it would have been interesting to see the outcome. I just wish I had seen this earlier.
