I just want to say that I am always flattered and glad when someone rates me and leaves messages for me.It really makes me smile!But it bothers me how many people always put "rate me" on their answers.That's not what I'm here for.That's wonderful if you do rate me,and I thank you,but I'm here to help people,not to be out for the best rating.That's not to offend anyone,just letting you know what I'm about I guess!!Hehe ;)

OK When I was about 14 my mom told me that when I wanted to go on birth control that all I had to do was ask her about it. Well its been over a year and I dont know how to bring it up. We're not really that cloce. She meant when I'm 'in love' and I want to do it with that special person. Well thats kinda not the deal rite now I'm not in love at all. I dont even have a bf. But I want to go on it .. how do I ask her ? I cant just bring it up out of nowhere..
Well,if you don't even have a bf,I wonder why it is you want to be on the pill.If it's a case of you want it for your skin,then just approach your mom with that,no problems.But I get a feeling you want to be on the pill "just in case".Personally I believe in being with someone you love and that it should be special when you are "with" someone.But,since I'm not here to preach,I would reccomend going to your mom when she's alone and when there's no interruptions(like TV or the phone or other people).Say something like "hey mom,you remember when you told me that I could come to you when I was ready to discuss going on birth control,I think it's time we talked about that." Maybe even do your homework on the pill,by going to places like www.plannedparenthood.com and getting as much info as possible about your options.That way,you are showing your mom some responsibility and maturity in this.If your mom made that statement to you,she obviously wants you to trust and confide in her.Perhaps this could be the chance for you guys to get closer,kind of a starting ground.If you still feel uneasy about it,leave me a message in my inbox and we can exchange SN's.I'd be more than happy to talk to you about this situation,and about any questions you have about the pill.I'm 20-yrs-old so you know! :)
