I just want to say that I am always flattered and glad when someone rates me and leaves messages for me.It really makes me smile! But it bothers me how many people always put "rate me" on their answers. That's not what I'm here for. That's wonderful if you do rate me,and I thank you,but I'm here to help people, not to be out for the best rating. That's not to offend anyone, just letting you know what I'm about I guess!!Hehe ;)

I'm 13/f with long blonde hair. I'm getting my hair highlighted (a lighter blonde) in a few days and i was just wondering is it really really bad for your hair? Can highlighting it do permenant damage? I'm not sure if i still want it highlighted if it's gunna ruin my hair.
Highlighting it won't do permanent damage. The only thing you want to do is watch how often you're dying your hair. You need to give it a break every now and then, meaning get the dead ends trimmed, and stop dying it for a while. That will allow your hair to replenish itself,as they say,and maintain it's health.Your hair dresser should tell you if it's too much that you want done to your hair. But no,doing some highlights now will not destroy your hair!!I bet it'll look great! :)
