Hi Alicia im 13 and im in a rilly confusing situation...Well ive been best friends with this rilly sweet girl since about January of this year..were great and all except when it comes to guys.....She absolutely HATES it when i talk to guys that she knows because i have gone out with like 2 of her past boyfriends...She told me about how it bugs me when iwas at her house once a while back when i talk to "Her" guy friends on the computer...ive tried to tell her that it hurts when she says stuff like that or acts like she doesnt trust me with those guys or something....But latelty theres this guy chris that were both friends with and she helped me meet...She told him stuff about how he shouldnt go out with me(bc he likes me) and a lot of other stuff i heard from him that makes me feel thatshes not a true friend to me and she gets really pissed at me when i talk on the phone with him and asks all these questions..and everytime im on the phone with him she wants him to 3-way her..Ive always wanted to talk to her about it but i hate it when she gets mad bc shes -SUPER-sensitive and has a very extreeeeeme attitude...its really complicated...BUt if you have any advice at all that you can give me, please please please do...Id *REALLY* appreciate thankyou SO much you seem soo sweet (link)

What's going on girlfriend? Alright...here's the spill on your friend. I think it's great that you have had that friend, but she sounds like she is trying to start something that mostly happens in middle school, or around your age...that is Using. She might not be "using" you nessesarly...but...she helped you meet this guy, now she is talking behind your back, which is wrong. There is no excuse for anybody to talk about you behind your back...even if it is the smallest thing, such as "Don't go out with Alicia." Now...tell me how stupid this sounds for her to do this..."I helped you meet Alicia, but don't go out with her." Umm, doesn't make much sence does it? Unfortunatly...no.
You are going to date some of her past boyfriends, because you two are friends and obviously have pretty good taste together, so you're probably going to date the same guys.
This is what I think about Chris and your friend and yours conflict. Have you ever thought that she might like him? She might, but can't admit it to you, because she thinks she is the bigger one in the friendship. Even though she is sensitve...you still said she has a big attitude. She thinks she is the one that can get away with everything...so what you have to do, is STAND YOUR GROUND. She might cry, and she might snap back at you...but think about the background and all that she has done. Think deeply into it, and get her back. CAll her on the phone and say...WE have to talk. You have raise your voice a little too, so she knows you really mean it. Tell her, that when you talk on the phone with Chris it's your time w/ him. She needs to call him on her own terms. You'll learn a lot around your age..you'll learn very very much. And what you need to do through all of middle school and high is to stand your ground, and stand up for what you believe in.
