Hey there everyone! I'm a 16 yr old female and I am a virgin. I am in no way thinking of having sex or asking if i'm too young to or anything, this has to deal more with the future. I am going to wait to have sex until I find a special person, it doesn't really matter if I am married or not. But, I'm afraid that the longer I hold out, it's going to be harder and harder to find a guy that's a virgin also, because it seems like there are none left. So I was wondering if it's silly of me to think that there is a guy out there that is a virgin that I will find somewhere down the road as I get older. Or stop being silly about it and not care? Well first off let me give you a big congrats. i know it seems like everyone from ages 14-18 are having sex all the time these days but that simply just not true. Eighty seven percent of teens surveyed say they are not ashamed to admit they have never had sex. also the percentage of girls in high school who reported having sex dipped below 50% in 1999. The percentage of boys declined from 61% in 1990 to 52% in 1999. so its not embarssing to be a virgin. a lot of teens are waiting to get married or to find that special someone. so keep up the good work and dont let anyone infulence you into doing somthing u dont wanna do.
