There is this guy I really like. Today I found out that he cuts himself. The only thing is, he doesn't know that I know. How can I bring it up and tell him to stop without sounding all maternal? (link)

Well, you cant just "stop" him from cutting, there is a problem in his life, or was and thats why he started cutting in the first place and its not something someone can just "stop" doing, they feel that they did somethig wrong or was treated badly so lets their anger out by inflicting pain on themselves, you may want to talk to him, but what you have to realize, this is just not a habit, it is a desise and a very deliate situation, this could also mean he has a low self-esteem or thinks very low of himself, so, be gentle, and dont force him to talk about anything he dosent seem to want to. . .theres my advice i hope it helped good luck and please rate me! =D

Great advice...but I asked the question over a month ago, so I kind of already figured out what to do. Thanks anyway, maybe I could use your advice if I have this same problem in the future.
