I would postpone your crush on the guy but keep him as an option for later. Telling your friend that you like her boyfriend is only going to bring up conflict between you two. Friendship is more important than guy-girl repationships by far. Don't tell your friend anything. Just wait around for them to break up, and until then look for a different guy. There are many fish in the sea.
