Thanks for your help! The thing is, even though F does those things, he hasn't ever done anything to make me feel uncomfortable while I'm around him (he knows what my beliefs are and hasn't ever asked me to do anything that I'd be unsure of doing.)
With L, I just don't want things to be totally awkward between us, as I'd want to have him as a friend even if he didn't like me that way.
