okay, so my friend's birthday is two weeks from now which also happens to be the day of our recollection. my other friends and i are planning a birthday surprise for her: we're gonna give her cake. and thats just it, i think. i just thought i'd wanna give her a gift too. i was thinking 1)a pen since our group name is named from a pen, 2)a novel, she likes reading novels, but i dont know, what if i get something she doesn't like? she's not the most appreciative person. 3)another cake. she loves to eat but maybe she'd probably have enough. IDK what to get her. but i wanna get her something special for her birthday. help me please?:)

So, recently, my friend, let's call her Kayla, talked me into starting to go to a youth group with her. It was the first time for the both of us. Then, I decided to invite my best friend, Melody. Well, we started going, and go figure, there was a mighty cute boy. Well, Melody knew this boy, and they talked often. And, Kayla and I were just to shy to talk to him. Then after going a couple times, Kayla had gotten to know him pretty well. They had talked on the phone a couple times, and talked in person. But, I, being the shy one, hadn't gotten around to talking to him in person or even on the phone. Sure, we talked on myspace, and he seemed almost interested in me. Before he and I even started talking, he asked Melody what my name was, and asked if I would come next week. He said I was kinda cute, and he kinda liked me. Eventually we became friends on myspace. And so began the messages. Well, finally, a couple days ago when Kayla and I went to the movies/mall, she called and invited...let's call him Collin. Well, he came, and imagine how awkward that was. Did i mention Kayla and I both liked him? And it had been a couple weeks since he told me he kinda liked me, so I didn't know if that still stood. Not to mention, only a month ago, he got out of a eight month relationship. And he tells me he's trying to be friends with his ex, and whatnot. She even came with him to youth one night. And, she wants him back. But, he told me he wants to move on. And he never says cute things to Kayley like he does to me. Like the other night, he said I was awkward, and I said I hated it, and he said it was kinda cute. And at the movies the other day, he would flirt a lot. But, still, on his top eight on myspace, his ex is number one, and then Kayla is fifth, and I'm sixth. I'm so beyond confused with this kid. I make it so obvious, but he never says a word or seems to show that he knows...
top eights suck. you think one thing and they tell you something else ! i think you should invite him somewhere with your friend melody. only if she wont go after him, too. maybe once you start talking to him you'll move up. you never know. maybe kayla was like, why am i so low on your top !? you should ask him who he likes in an IM conversation or something. some guys are forward. and if you dont want to, have melody ask. hope i helped !

when you roll over the picture, it will show you whos who. or you can roll over their name at the bottom and you can see which one they are. to tag someone means they're in the picture. it also shows up on their sites. you can untag a picture of you, or tag a picture.
But I really need help, a real answer.
Here is the situation.
My mother is unhappy with one of my classes this year, and I think she is making me switch. I'm not sure if the switch is final yet, but she has already called the principal, and they talked about it.
Background: There is this guy, long story short, that I love. I was hoping for classes with him this year so we could finally talk "it" out. But I got none, and I never see him.
My two options (that the principal gave me) are:
1.) Switch out of Spanish with my best friend, so I can take Art History, which will is the pre-requisite for Photography, which I really wanted to take!
2.) Change up my whole schedule. I'd still be in Spanish with my best friends, but I probably wouldn't see my casual friends anymore. I don't know anyone in the classes I'd be switching too. My school is really small, so the people in the class are probably people I don't like. BUT, if this happened, I'd be in two classes with the guy!!

What would you do in this situation? Help please.
i'd take the classes you need. that will be more important than having classes with your friends in the long run. i'd go with option two. you get your best friends and the guy.
well 2morrow school starts! i know who my teachers are going to be, but ive never met them. im afraid though!!! i know where everything is, but im still afraid! its also been a while since ive seen my bf (we've been going out for like...10 or 11 months. we barely ever kiss or hold hands, so i'm going to start holding hands with him. and i only have one class and lunch with him)
well anyway, how can i get over being so nervous with school startiing, the teachers, my classes (idk what they will be, but i KNOW that i only have one class with my bf, b/c hes in the other half of the grade.)

i'm sorry for seeing this now ! you probably wont even get it in time buttt ... everyone gets nervous about the first day of school. its normal. just think of all the new and exciting things. new friends, new supplies, etc. teachers usually explain who they are and whats up with the class on the first day. i'm not gonna know my classes on the first day either. i dont really know how you can get over it. for me, i'm not too worried about it because i know many people from last year and this summer. hope i helped !
on an ipod, do u save battery keeping it on hold? or off hold?
when you turn it off, use hold. its so easy for it to turn on. while you're listening it doesn't matter i dont think.
if you want to save battery, then turn the brightness all the way down. you can still see fine. i do it, and it works great !

well, my camera randomly decided to start taking really low quality photos. i have a casio exilim with 7.2 mega pixels. a while ago i dropped it in the sand at the beach and it wasnt working but, i ended up fixing it. then a few weeks ago, i took a picture, and the quality was horrible. and i have no idea why. and when i turn the camera on it makes a weird noise. maybe theres sand in the lens? idk. i really want to get this fixed. if i bring it to get fixed, how much do you think they'll charge me?
when i broke my camera [a sony] i went to the site and acted like i was sending it back. i answered a few questions and they gave me a rate. my lens wouldn't go back into the camera, and that cost $107. try it.

a lot of sites allow you to text a code. so if you have texting, that works. and some online sites allow you to just give them your phone number.

i know im not that big and i know im measureing right. i measured 5 times all same answers and its stright all the way arround too its all even, i measured right i even asked my mom if i was doing it right.

many stores that sell bras will fit you for free. they are all usually professionals, so you'll know you can get the right fit. try victorias secret or macys.

if you eat just breakfast lunch and dinner is that bad for you? if you don't eat snacks. is that giving you enough? i am trying to loose weight and eating healthy doesn't work i just eat too much.. do you think this is a good idea?
having just breakfast lunch and dinner isn't bad for you. just cutting out snacks alone wont help. eat healthier and cut down portion sizes.

I want to get my cartilage done but my mom is extremly against it since there is a high risk of infection. I'm willing to pay for the piering, take the time to clean it and get a small silver ball so it's not highly visable. I would get it done at a doctors office so theres a less chance of infection but I'm not sure if they do cartilage piercings. I don't know if its that she thinks this piercing will lead to other ones, it looks trashy or she thinks it will get infected. I want to convince her its not for any of those reasons and that there are ways to have your cartilage done and have it not look trashy. (Like by wearing small studs) I have two piercings on each side and don't intend on having anything more done than my cartilage. I just need help convincing her about this. I'm 15/f btw.
tell your mom why you want it. be calm when she starts to go against it. tell her youre responsible by having it done at a doctors office and not some free piercing place in the mall.

ok...So I'm getting ready to turn 18...August 14th to be exact and I still don't know what I'm going to do for my birthday...My parents wont let me have like a party but I want to do something big. it depends on how much you wanna spend. you can have a dance or something at a place where someone would have a reception. they let all ages in there.
My dad is 37 he's got like a 6 pack he's not ugly and I need to find him a date. He tells me that if he doesnt find someone soon he's going to go back to his exgf [yuck] So how can I find him a date?
