i have a playing test in band tomorrow for school and i have a question
when theres a note... is the key signature (flat or sharp) supposed to go in FRONT of the note? or BEHIND the note?
and how do you play a B# on a clarinet??
yes, b sharp IS the same as c. contrary to sizzlinmandolin, b sharp and c flat don't actually "exist"... i know this sounds weird, but b sharp is the same as c, and c flat is the same as b. if you don't understand it now, it will hit you in about five minutes, trust me. and the flat/sharp sign goes in front of the note. anyway, b sharp is the same fingering as c. i don't play clarinet, i'm a sax player, but it should be your second finger in your top hand, but don't quote me on that.
What are come good exercises to get rid of love handles? (If you don't know, it's like the fat on your hips) To tighten your butt?
i'd really recommend running/walking/jogging to get rid of excess fat. you can also do side crunches, leg lifts, squats, that type of thing, but running has always had the best results for me.
what should i do if i find my teacher sexually atractive
you should do nothing at all. ignore your feelings because nothing good can come of that. what if somebody finds out? you will have a bad reputation, the teacher will lose their job. there's probably a big age gap too. just try to spend time doing other things, and soon enough you'll be over it. but please, please don't act on your feelings because it could mean a lot of trouble for you and the teacher.

Okay, recently I've been getting sick a lot [mostly form lack of sleep and sickness going around in school] and when I get sick, I tend to throw up [yea, I know, ew.]
I've heard that when you throw up, your stomach acid deteriorates your teeth [enamle?] Anywhos, I was wondering what I could do [without going to the dentist] to help protect my teeth.
i think in your case your teeth aren't getting very damaged... but if you were bulimic (which i understand you aren't) then it would be a problem since you would be throwing up every day. don't worry about it, and try to start feeling better. if you only throw up when you're sick, then it's not really doing much to your teeth... think about it, pregnant women get morning sickness and their teeth don't fall out. and dogs/cats throw up all the time. it's natural up to a certain point.

I have NO idea why, but my tailbone (or the hard flat bone thing right above my butt) has been hurting reallly bad lately. It especially hurts when i sit down and then REALLY bad when I stand up. I haven't don't anything to injure it lately like any type of exercises and I haven't fallen on it. I don't know what to do because it seems like sitting makes it hurt worse but I have to sit all the time at school. The whole area and one specific spot in the middle just feels VERY sore! What should i do??
i think going to the doctor is the best bet. you could have fractured/broken something. i really doubt that you have scoliosis (sp) or something, but it's better to get checked for that type of thing. it could just be that you're growing, but only a doctor can give you a definite answer.

yes they do! i have ddr ultramix 2 for xbox, and my friend has ddr ultramix 1 for xbox. i think those versions of ddr are considered "older" so you probably have more choice in the version you can buy now, but yes, it does exist. they should have the different ddr games on bestbuy.com or circuitcity.com or maybe even walmart.com if you wanted to see which game version you want.
How do you keep your shoes from being smelly? I wear flats and tennis shoes and they always seem to get an odor becasue of the cloth/cotton, but i always wash my feet and wear clean pairs of socks..i heard about baking soda but that gets messy and i dont want to ruin my shoes... what do i do?
febreze! also, if your tennis shoes are nasty on the outside too, get some shoe cleaner. even a damp rag will do. depending on what kind of flats you wear, if it wouldn't hurt the inside of them to go over them with a damp rag, i would do that every now and then too. but febreze will work. if the stench is enough to knock your friends down, i'm pretty sure different shoe stores have remedies for that. sprays or something.
I am singing the national anthem for the school's volleyball team tomorrow.

don't eat anything out of the ordinary tomorrow that might make you sick. drink water and tea (if you have it, it calms you down). before i perform, it helps for me to stand outside by myself before i go on. even in the parking lot or something. and just take deep breaths. it also calms you down if you convince yourself that you are hot shit. and just keep telling yourself that you will do great, because you will! and even if you think you won't do well, just remember that nobody else in the crowd could do it better because if they could, then they would be the ones singing the national anthem. well, hope i helped, and good luck tomorrow :)
im confused, in two-a-days the first season, one of hte last episodes was when they went to homecoming. then the second season, there very first episode was going to homecoming?

i live in texas, and here's what homecoming is for me: homecoming is one of the first home games that a football team plays at their home stadium. it's not always the first game, and it's never the last game because homecoming starts all the hype of football season. so for homecoming, people have dates (but i think that's stupid, it's a freaking football game) and hang out at the game. then most high schools have a homecoming formal afterward. my high school doesn't, though. there's a homecoming king and queen who are elected by the students the week before. and the week before homecoming (which is on a friday night) is really fun because the cheerleaders and student council and all the clubs at school have fun activities and fundraisers. and we usually have a huge pep rally on the day of homecoming at school, and the band, baton and flag twirlers, cheerleaders, and dancers perform. all the people that perform at halftime at the football game, like the band and dancing drill team, get really pumped up because homecoming is like the biggest game of football season and everybody shows up. the stadium is always packed. and it's a really big deal whether or not the home football team loses the game at their own homecoming... but since our football team sucks, we almost always lose. haha. but yeah, it's basically an excuse for high school kids to hang out at the football stadium on friday night.

16 for many jobs. chick-fil-a hires at 15. i think that's the youngest anybody is allowed to hire. a lot of my friends who are 16 and 17 work at little caesar's pizza.
I want to go to texas for a vacation, but my family is covinced there's bothing to do in Texas. What are the must-see places, or Tourist places in Texas?
holy crap, there's a buttload of stuff to do in texas! of course... i live here. the big cities to go to are austin, san antonio, and dallas. austin is the music capital. it's really cool and there are a lot of unique people there. you can go visit the capital building, the university of texas campus (lots of history there), countless museums, and all kind of places. plus, there's entertainment on sixth street every night. in san antonio, there's six flags: fiesta texas, the alamo, the riverwalk, and some other stuff. dallas has a lot of shopping and a cool entertainment district called deep ellum. also, close to dallas is a place called fort worth, and i strongly recommend that you go to downtown fort worth because it is beautiful. and six flags and hurricane harbor are around there too. don't forget the place where john f. kennedy was assassinated in dallas. you can also go to cowboys games, mavs games, and stars games. there's always something going on at the american airlines center (where the mavs play, also a lot of concerts are there) and the nokia theatre in grand prairie (near dallas). pretty much all those cities have museums, historical landmarks, and shopping. and there will probably be generic texas stuff going on too... rodeos and the like. if you're up by amarillo, there's that place that sells 72 oz. steaks. that's a neat place to go, but there's not freaking anything to do in amarillo. i live in east texas, smack dab in the oilfield, so there are oil museums and stuff around where i live. west texas is pretty barren... driving across west texas royally sucks because there's nothing to see. but east texas and central texas are cool. galveston and corpus christi are also popular places to go, though i've never been to either. i think those are places that people go in the summer time. i hope your parents let you come to texas!

See, my father passed Wed. night/Thurs morning and when he first found out about it he was so supposrtive and flew here to just be here and help with everything (he was at a confrence or something).
Well last night we were talking and I started thinking about my dad and everything in the middle of a happy conversation with him. I said, "I can't believe my dads not going to be there at prom or graduation or when I get married" He didn't say anything for a sec then was like, "I really wish you didn't just say that"
I know we were having a good, happy convo but shouldn't he be able to listen to me when I need to talk about it?
I apologized for bringing him down and he responded with, "Its okay...I guess"
i think he said that because he cares so much about you and doesn't want you to think too much about it and be sad. yes, he should be able to listen to you, but he was happy that you were happy when you two were having that conversation. and that's why it made him sad when you started talking about your dad; because he knew that it made you sad. of course, guys are just weird anyway. but i really think that's what your boyfriend meant.
Are airsoft guns dangerous?
Do they heart as much as paintball guns heart?
Can you use plastic balls instead of iron?
technically they are dangerous because they are guns. when you get shot with an airsoft gun, it doesn't really hurt, it just kind of pops you in the arm or whatever and may leave a red mark. i've never played paintball, but i've heard people talk about paintball injuries and it's nothing compared to that. as for plastic balls, i'm pretty sure you can... i think those are the ones that are different colors.
I went a week ago to take my permit test. I failed, I was so mad. But anyway i noticed it was asking me questions like facts like "how many people die from alcohol accidents" and things like that what can i do to learn about things like these? I live in massachusetts by the way.

it should be in your driving handbook. i live in texas, and the alcohol law questions were the ones i missed. definitely study up on the alcohol laws, regulations, and stats because that's really important. it was toward the back of my texas handbook. should be in the table of contents.

yes, i have a friend who is 15, 5'3", and has huge boobs and has since she was 13 and like 5'0". generally, you stop growing somewhere around 2 years after you get your first period. it isn't the same for everybody though, it could be more or less. it's just an estimate.

i'd say small. if you have no boobs, then x-small, and if you have big boobs, then medium. but i'd go with a small if you're average.

what ride is this??? and where do you end up after falling down? and is it like super scary? do you need to know how to swim? can you go on when your 13? thanks :]
i'm not really sure, but i really think that this ride is in the bahamas at the atlantis resort. or at least, there is one like it there that i went on. it is like a usual water slide, you end up in this trough thing. it's not scary, it's really fun! you don't have to know how to swim; they don't actually throw you in the water. and yes, i think you can go when you're 13, you just have to be at least 4'8" or something. the cool thing about this one... and not to freak you out or anything... do you see how the slide goes underneath the water? okay, well you don't actually get in that water, but it goes through a shark tank so when you go down the slide, if you open your eyes, you can see sharks but they're behind THICK glass. it's really cool.
