Ok, Not too long ago, my best friend and I both liked the same guy. I dont think anyone knew it but us 3. Anyways, the guy (I'll call him Roboert) told me that he liked me. And my best friend was sitting right there. She got really mad because he knew that she liked him alot and he decided to like me. She even got mad at me. Well, she got a boyfriend and everything was cool. But now, they're fighting and she's started talking to Robert more. We're not goin out or anything but, I dont want the same problem to happen again. What should I do? I mean, should I stop liking him for my friend or is she a friend at all if she'd get mad at me for someone liking me??

Well to start with you can't just will yourself to stop liking him... and just because your friend is talking to him does not mean she has romantic intentions, and it seems she's arguing with her honey, but they’re not broken up... you should also not have to "stop liking a guy" because your friend likes him, if the world was like that than it might be pretty confusing, and people might have a hard time keeping relationships or even dreaming of some. It's possible that a dispute might occur again, but in relationships of any kind disputes occur, and well I'm sure you could make it though. You can't change feelings, and should not have to even try for a "true" friend...

Well that is often the way it is, believe me your not alone on this one... Just remember crushes don't last forever and just because this one is not interested in you back does not mean others won't, best advice? Gaze from a far, drool, whatever till you can find another guy that strikes your fancy, hopefully he will be interested back and then you might be able to have a relationship...

For the first few months your period is all over the place, when i first started one time it was two weeks apart another two weeks late, it takes about a year for your body to get it all strait and your schedule to become normal. Being sick also can effect it causing you to be late, just like a lot of stress, worrying, a lot of physical activity. Don't worry it's perfectly normal :)

Theres this guy at my school, I REALLY like him and I've told him exactly how I feel. One day we were on the bus, on the way to a football game, and he told me that he liked me too. Now that he told me that, everything is all weird between us. And he alwayz reminds me that he likes me but, he never does anything about it. He also likes this other girl but, IDK. He flirts with me and stuff like that...I don't know what Im supposed to do to find out if he really likes me or if its really gonna go anywheres. I dont wanna talk to him and make myself look like a complete idiot. What is it you’re waiting for? He seems to be hinting to you he likes you... Are you waiting for him to ask you out? Because you know it's now expectable for girls to ask out guys, and my guess is that is what he is waiting for. Time for you to step up to the bat and swing, you need to ask him out, otherwise he might just give up, assuming you don't like him anymore. Oh no I did sleepovers younger than that. If you’re concerned call and make sure it's all girls however I don't believe at 10 that should be an issue... I say that 10 is a good age to start, its a good social setting to spend the night playing with other girls, and I always remember they were a lot of fun. Remember some children are already spending a few days at a camp... It will probably be fun for her to go, and it's only one night... enjoy it ;)

Well actually in today’s modern society girls are starting to ask guys out... more and more... so don't worry too much, the old gender role is on its way outta there!!! However shy guys still need to get guts to at least flirt with the girls so they know your interested and ask them out... so either way them cute shy boys need to slap on a pair and go for it... just as shy girls do ;)

Calluses are a good thing, if you got one then you probably use that finger a lot and need one there, filing it and putting lotion on it can help get rid of it, but before you try and kill your callus fried consider if you really need it...

I am a 29 year old married woman with three kids. I just found out that I am pregnant and my husband and I have agreed that I would have an abortion because we couldn't afford to have another child. We are already struggling to raise our three kids. I am so confused and depressed right now. I am scheduled to have my abortion next week though. If I continue with this pregnancy that means I would have to stop working and money is really tight right now. We are actually living pay check to pay check right now. The other side of me wanted to continue having this child. And it really hurts me so that I have to do this. My family and his family would be so dissappointed if they learned I'm preganant and I doubt that they would be willing to help. If you were in my shoes, would you do the same thing? Your body your choice... If you can't afford the time off work and they don't offer a type of maternity leave then well I suppose you have to think of yourself and what is best for you and your family now, and that is best. It’s one of those situations were an abortion might be best, however if it is financially possible to carry to term, then have you thought about putting the baby up for adoption? Some people can't have children and have been waiting for years for a chance to get one via adoption, I myself was aborted and it is a great thing, I love my life and well I know my parents are beyond happy to have a family even though they can't have children themselves. I don't believe that abortions are the same as murder or crap like that, I rather not see the child be born at all than have to live in a situation where they don't get ample opportunity, or deprive there family of economic stability. You know what’s best for your situation and whatever you decide is right for you, the others that oppose it have not, nor will probably ever be in a situation like yours so how can they tell you that you are a bad person... I've known this boy since the 4th grade. We are two years apart. We were together for 2 years. He was normal but now he is a total freak and disaster! Recently he's been stalking me, and my friends. Like he'll talk to my friends and tell them lies that I don't like. And he almost punched me and grabbed my arm so hard it had red marks on it. Durring our relationship he called me a slut for going to a dance with one of my good friends which is now my boyfriend. But yet, durring our relationship, on his b-day he played spin the bottle with all of my friends and kissed all of them, and my best friend, and my best friends mom. So, all together he's cheated on me, abused me, and stalked me, lied to me, used me, and ruined my life and my dignity. What should I do?

hey. well, to get right to it, there's this guy i fell in love with. he's a senior, and i'm a freshman, but i still love him more than life itself. but there are so many problems....he is my 19th cousin...do u think that's bad? then there's his "new" girlfriend. and the fact that he loves his 3rd cousin, which is worse than me. but the real problem is he is a vampire. i'm serious. he sucks his blood and everything! he's even tried to kill me a number of times. but i still fell in love with him somehow. but the day i found out he had a girlfriend, i slit my wrist 23 times. i've been doing it every night for almost a month now because of him. now, i'm not pretty or skinny, so it's not like i have another guy to like instead. do you have any advice? and then...there's my second problem. i'm 14, and there's this really nice, really sweet 22 year old who loves me. and i have no clue what to do. he's a minister, but he has a bad past and reputation. some of my friends are afraid that he'll rape me or something like that. but i like him alot. what should i do? cuz it's kinda illegal.......well, thanks in advance for any help you can offer. I don't remember you question, but really advice is nearly suggestions, it’s not always the best thing, it can only give you feed back about what others think, it's not a solve all to your problems... You are the best advice giver you have, and because you followed some "bad" advice for your situation does not mean all the advice given here is wrong or bad... Suck it up! and study harder or switch out first chance you get, I know your pain I suffered my way through a semester of Spanish and it was hard and miserable but I did it and didn't whine about it, ultimately you made the chose to take it so what can I say...

At my school there are some kids who think being Jewish is a bad thing. I am half Jewish and one of my friends is too. We always get mad when we hear kids saying it. Some kids say things like- You Jew- as if its bad. They dont even care who they say it to they will say it to christians catholics or jews. It really make me mad but I dont know what to do. Well it's very cruel thing, Jew is thrown around nearly as much as Gay or Queer, and it suggests the same thing. The society we live in is predominantly "good white Christian’s," there are some people that don't really know what a Jew is and simply say it since others do, but generally speaking they say that because churches, friends, and society as a whole has filled them with the impression that being Jewish is strange and wrong. They say it because they're not jewish and because shows like South Park make it seem cool and ok... the best comebacks for that, is when you hear it is just to say simply, "thank you so much Hitler" or "you know Jesus was a Jew." it will make them think, and you know, popular or not, those kids are in the wrong, they are mainly victims of habit and it's only when people say something to them about it that they even realize the impact of it, and that is when you can start to make a difference. Don't say something all the time, try and ignore it, it's hurtful, but they are nothing more than a victim of society's hate and they don't even realize it...

Get to know her, you said she rides your bus; well first you need to sit down flirt and talk to her. Flirting is a great form of flattery and it should make her feel special. Generally speaking its a good idea to talk to and get to know the girl before you ask her out. Get her sn if you have AOL or any other instant messengers. If you get it know her a little better than it will make it easier and much less strange to ask her out... Just be swave, once you have talked to her a few times then go for it and ask her, I'm guessing since you ride the bus you probably do not drive, so one day ask her if she would like to come by your house and watch a move or something, she lives near by so it should be do able. Something simple like "hey you should stop by sometime, we could watch a movie or something" or " you know do you have any plans (insert day), because I was thinking if you like to you could come by and hang out" these are not actually asking her to be your gf but by doing this she knows your interested and if she stops by before she leaves you can pop the "so I was wondering, would you go out with me?"... Well you see in order to get a girlfriend you need to take interest in girls. Now I am by no means calling you gay but understand you can have the best of personalities, be god's gift to guys, but if you never talk to, flirt, get to know, or peruse a girl than you won't get a girlfriend. The old "If I stare at her long enough she'll fall in love with me" will get you nothing more than a restraining order. You need to make your great personality known, and step out on a limb and talk and flirt, then if the girls aren’t asking you out, Ask them out... you could sit around and wonder why you don't have a girlfriend but unless you get up take action you wont ever get one...

You are probably strait, lots of girls in there teen years will "scope out the companion" looking at other girls and thinking gee I wish I had boob's like that, or wow what a nice butt... Most the time it's an unconscious thing, and guys do it too... just scooping them out is normal for teens, when you look and think "wow I want her, she's hot" then your probably bi, even if you are, that is ok, it really doesn't make you any less of a person.
