I've had Mono for about 3 weeks. How much longer might it last? My main question, though, is does it affect your moods? I've been super lethargic, irritable, tired, depressed, etc. I do have actual Depression. So it is just that, or both combined, or what? I don't like feeling so emotinally fragile. it can last 3-6 more weeks. you are probably at the HARDEST part of having mono. yes it will deffiently effect your moods. your body is stressing, your going to be short temperted, tired ALOT easier, possibly forgetful, no appittee... im sure your depression might get alittle worse with havign mono jsut because for a long period of time your going to feel tired and liek you cant do much.. might make you feel a little bit hopeless..but it WILL get better. it should be getting a little bit better everyday... so keep your hopes up you will feel much better soon.

some schoosl have them with seniors.. some have seperate ones. if yours is witht he seniors it will be around may-june. usually junior proms go earlier if they dotn have it with seniors. anyways. i hope that helped a bit. id ask your school

Recently I think I had a miscarrage. If I had the bleeding from one saturday until yesturday and now its like almost completely gone and I had to get blood work done and my doctors wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant, so I had to pee in the cup...since it was so recent would it show up that I was pregnant--if I did have a miscarrage? I need to know what to except especially from my mom! (shell be the first to know because they will call and tell her.)

it shouldnt show up if you are nto prgenant anymore. and btw...... after 13 they are nto supose to give lab results like that to parents after your 13. if they do yo need to remind them of the HIPAA laws... sooo anyways the results shoudl be accurate...

I heard that while on birth control you have to still wear a condom and me and I have been on birth control for 3 months and me and my boyfriend have been havind sex without a condom for 2 months and he has been penetrating in me the whole time and I of course have not gotten pregnant. I wanted to know if i kept doing that will there be a chance that to much seman can get in me and I can get pregnant? We have sex basically every other day, sometimes twice a day. is that too much?

well for one..... you onyl need one perm to get pregnant. its not like all the sperms are going to make a gang and go beat up the birth control... the more you do it the more chance there is to you getting pregnant. also depends on if your birth control is the RIGHT dosage for you. sounds like yours is alright.. but it doesnt mean you cant still get pregnant. it only takes once. and two.... theres no such thing as too much sex!!!.. if it is hurting you, forcing you, makng it inconvient, you know.. if its negitive to either of your lives. if you guys are nto communicating other than to have sex.. thats also not posstive.. but other wise.. no. not too much sex. so PLEASE make sure you stay safe use atleast two kinds of protection. theres a WHOLE lot mroe kinds than condoms... anyways good luck have fun and be safe......

k im 15 & i wear tampons but everytime i wear it i need 2 wear a pad 2 but it still leaks i wear a regular absorbancy does this mean that my tampons sucks or that i need a bigger absorbancy (link)

try different kinds.. like OB or a sports kind. those are what work for me... you shouldnt need a bigger absorbancy

For the past couple of days I have not been able to use the bathroom because of this intense pain I get in my anus. I know I should probably go see a doctor, but this is just really embarrassing. I've been looking online to see what it could be, and I am pretty sure it is an anal fissure. I just want to know if theres anyone who has had an anal fissure before? And what did you do to help it heal? And how can I make it easier for me to use the bathroom?

okay iv never had one... but i was doing a job shadow (im trying to become a nurse...) and one of our patients had one. he went to the doctor.. try tried to remove it.. which inhis case.. didnt work that awesome. it closed up but it was still there.. so he went in for a second surgery to put a band around it. but he was on ALOT of pain killers. and anti biotics.. he told me that was the only way he could go after awhile.. so seirously if you think thats what it is theres no reason to get emberassed because doctors deal with stuff like that all the time.. and if you dont go it can get alot worse.. so anyways im sorry this sint the answer you wanted cause iv never had one.. but i figured since you havent had any responses yet that id atleast say this. anyways good luck and i hope someone can give you mroe advice. take care.

no actually.. it can be the opposite. those who work at ABS and stuff are also workign on kegel. those are the muscles to work on to have or to have a better orgasm. it can be difficult unless you have developed these muscles. (they also help you not go pee untill your on the toilet... )

Yesterday I got a new kitten. I already have one cat, female, she had a litter about 4 years ago (spayed now)and lived with one of her kittens for 3 years. (always got along fine)she was an awesome mom. I know it is natural for her to be territorial with this new kitten, but she is growling and hissing all day. just wondering how long you think it will take her to warm up to the new kitten,male, and anything i can do to speed up the process (link)

my cat STILL makes my older cat hiss.. shes three and my odler cat is 13. my younger will jump over her and try to play... it still gets her to hiss and growl. but they are also the best of friends and sleep together. dont interfere..the older cat needs to let the kitten know that it is domonant in the house. unless you see it get out of control attack the kitten.. it should be okay.. and im sorry i have no idea how to speed it up cause my cats still get irritaed with eachother.

its kinda liek when people say.. its going to my thighs... for some people its legs.. some stomach.. some face... so untill you loose it you probably wont know.. where do you notice yourself gaining weight whenever you think you have??.. the majority of it will come from there and sliming in the other areas. so try to determine where you gain it.. that will help you find out where youll probably lose it. but you wont knwo till you start losing it.

well... show him when hes sick you make him soup.. or just some random day make him cookies that are all decorated.. or do random things where you show him how much you love him. making things instead of buying things really (at least to me...) show that you thought about them and considered them and their interests. go to target or walmart or something and go into the art section. rose art has a mug makign set. it comes tih plenty of paint and two mugs. you could paint them for him or make one for each of you. or.. you could make them together. if you have a class that he has, but later in the day.. or where he has a first period you could write him little notes and drawings and jsut STUFF... and ask the teacher if they would give it to him like a present. try stuff like that.. im sure he would like it.

i got surgery on my knee about 2 weeks ago. i went from being active 6-7 days a week to sitting on my butt in the same position all day. (im not allowed to put weight on it) im gonna be like this for 2 months and i am very worried about gaining weight. yesterday in the morning around 9 am, i ate 2 large helpings of ice cream and i made myself not eat again until 11 that night, and i ate potatoes with vegetables. of course, i drank water in between as to not get hydrated. today i have only eaten a tangerine and a medium portion of ice cream, and that was about 6 hours ago (it's 4.30 now)
so far my stomach hasn't felt hungry, but i feel myself losing concentration on what i'm doing (which is bad, because i have a ton of make up work to do lol). also my head feels kind of heavy..it's weird. so do you think this is healthy? if not how can i eat so that i dont gain weight these next 2 months?

this is something that bugs me after surgeries. the doctors rarely supply you with a diet and other daily life help. they tell you what to look for about your surgery and thats it. you need to call your general physician. you need to ask if you could get help with a diet while your very low activity, but yet still recovering. there ae alot of foods that help heal wounds, keep weight balanced, make you feel awake and not slugged down even though you dont get much activity. you need to stay away from fats though (like the ice cream) because fats and sugars are fast burnign energy, for times when you need to walk far, or run, ect. other wise i realllyy advise you just to call your doctor. they really shouldnt mind. good luck!

some people, alot of them, hate driving. you dotn have to like it. its jsut soemthing you have to do unless you want to ride the bus or ride a bike. Think that it will give you independence. and try to think that even if you dont like it its important to learn the right way so that you dont get into a terrible wreck. learning soemthing you dont like to do gives you professionalism, it will help you work when you get a job, and deal with other people and bosses. it will also help you with whoever is teaching you ex:dad. there might be a few arguments and frustrating times, but in the end you can rememebr that your father taught you to drive, and thats soemthing nobody else did with you.. i say try to be positive and once its over you migth still hate driving but it might be a good experince!

honestly everyone btu one girl i know wears tampons. but that does nto make it weird.. or normal. or bad or good. do what you want. the reason peopel wear them is that it works better for them for different reasons. so its okay that you dont use them. do what you want and feel best using!

ok so i got my very first period in february
and im on my third period cycle right now, well i've had it for 4 or 5 days
well the first 2 times i got my period and it lasted for 10 days
so i just assumed that the cycle im on now would last for 10 days but today i woke and i had very little blood even though i slept gor 10 hours.
and there was no blood in the toilet and when i wiped it was brown sorta like discharge.
so am i getting off of it early?

usually yes that means that your going to stop your period but sometimes when you first start it can be heavy and then really light like your going to stop then just kinda start up again. so you might be stopping, but you should watch what YOUR body does.
