hey i asked a question about the chi straightner. i think im going to buy it off ebay but everyone said it cost like 100 bucks and on ebay the cheapest i can get it is around $12-14. they're only one inch irons but i dont care. i just want to know what kind you guys have. theres a whole bunch of different styles: pink, white, black, gray/red, and stuff like that. and what else kind of characteristics does it have? i just want to know which one you guys have specifically so i know its not a scam!

Oh hey! Sorry this took a little while to get an answer to. Mine is the red/grayish black colors. And it is 1 inch ceramic plates! Make sure you get the ceramic plated Chi, it'll help keep your hair healthier, & not get burned or anything like that. I've never even heard of pink or white Chi's so I wouldn't get one of those. Try the red/gray, or black! Those are your best bets, and good luck girl! :]
I used to be best friends with this girl.Then i started to like her and all was going well in our relationship.Then stuff happended and we had a big fight.Its been months since then i just want to be friends with her. I stopped liking her. a week or two ago i said sorry and we both "forgave" each other and all seemed very well. days later, i talked to her and she started shutting me down.
What more can I do to be friends with this person again?Do I just leave her alone?
Just give her some time. This question is so weird for me, cause someone just did this too me, hah, and apologized like last week, seriously. But I guess I'm more forgiving than she is. If she's shutting you down, she probably hasn't completely forgiven you, and that's alright. A little bit of time might help her out, and when you do talk to her don't be too pushy or anything. Just ask how she is, etc, like a casual converstaion. Eventually she should forgive you & if she doesn't, after you apologized and everything, then she's not really worth your time. Good luck.
are chi straightners good? like really good? i'm trying to find a new straightner for this school year. i'm free for experimenting but i have to use my own money so i want some backround information before i buy it. and what's the average cost?
oh, and if there are better straightners that are like out-of-this-world (and under 40 dollars please), i'd like to hear about them too. so far i used conair and remington but they're not working as well as i was looking for.

There is this guy named Thomas that I really like. We are pretty good friends, and he's really nice. He's athletic, funny, nice, cool, fun, kinda cute, and everything I want. But I have recently realized that I like him more than a friend. I'm almost positive that he likes me, too. And when he is driving down the road, he makes a point to stop his truck, just to say hi, and if I'm walking past his house, he comes out side, sometimes in just boxers to say hi, and give me a hug. But there is two problems, #1- He is 16 and I am only 13, and #2- He has slept with half the girls in our Jr/Senior High School. What do I do???

Aw, he seems sweet. Well, if you like him just keep talking to him & such. If the thing about him sleeping with the girls bugs you, then don't get with him. If it doesn't, then get with him. I doubt he'll pressure you to sleep with him, but if he does & you're not ready, just say no. He seems like he likes you to me, so I'd just keep talking to him & try to become more than friends. :]
next month im turning 16 and i want to have a really sweet party. I live on a lake and i have a big back yard, i just dont want it to be a lot of people just standing around not having any fun...soo what are some good ideas to make sure that people are having fun?
Ooh, I'd make it a swimming party. And maybe have a bonfire or something going on in your backyard! Definitely have food & drinks in your backyard on tables & such so no one will go hungry. When people are done swimming, or just getting some food, have some music going in your backyard so they can be dancinggg and having fun. Haha, happy early birthday. :]

1. Haha, well I don't do much. My metabolism must be really fast, because I honestly eat a lot, and it just never shows. I don't really exercise, I dance a lot, so maybe that helps haha idk. A workout plan, hmm. Maybe do 50 crunches in the morning, 50 in the afternoon, 50 in the evening. You could try long power walks (about 30-45 mins) or running for about 20 mins.
2. I met my boyfriend at a club, actually, hah. And yeah, I'm 18 now, but all last year when I was 17 it wasn't that hard for me to get into clubs 18+, reason being..I had connections haha. And I still do, though they aren't needed as much. There's not really any tricks to it for me, because I'll get in any way with my connections, but I always see lots of girls like kinda flirting with the person that's letting people in (if they're under the age limit) & it sometimes works. Just look really hot & flirt with whoever is letting people in, or try to get a connection! I hope it works for youu, have fun! :]

My friend and I are having an argument over what makes people "Punk" She says its how the person dresses/what type of music they listen to. I say its how they act/what they do that makes them labeled that way. I get labeled punk alot cause my friends and I do crazy things & get into trouble alot, but I wear hollister/abercrombie and no one cares. Whos right?
Really, it's all of those things. A punk could be someone who does crazy things, etc, but they could also be someone whos clothes/music choices make them seem punk.

Okay I'm 15/m and I recently meet a guy 18/m. We're both gay. I wanna ask him out but I'm not sure if he's to old for me. He also thinks that sex isnt a big deal so I'm afriad if we get together he might fuck people behind my back. If you think he's going to be doing that..and you're okay with it, then yeah ask him out. It might be hard to have a relationship with the age difference and all seeing how he's either already graduated, or this is his last year. But go for it if you really like him.

Fort Macon, (historic place, used to fight in many wars, located on the beach on North Carolina)
Growing up, I always noticed that the floors were brick. While vacationing, my dad figured we should go since it had been newly restored to its "original" stand point. That and we hadn't gone in 3 years. I noticed the floors were wood.
When Fort Macon was used in the war, was the floor brick or wood? I really would like to know.

I don't know for sure, but I found this site http://ils.unc.edu/parkproject/visit/foma/guide.html which says, "These rooms appear as all the fort's casemates originally would have in the 1800s. The windows, doors, shutters, wooden flooring and ornate trim have been duplicated exactly from copies of the fort's original plans." So I THINK it means it's first floors were wood, but I can't be positive. I'm sorry.
