How does one keep their voice in good condition during the three-month span of everyday musical practice? {ie, practice for a musical}
I'm aiming to a lead role and I want to know how to keep my voice intact. (link)

Dear Singer,
Drinking hot tea REALLY helps. And here's a little secret that does work. When you go to make your hot tea put some honey in it. The honey will help coat your throat. In other words honey helps your voice so it's not all scratchy. And while your making the hot tea, sing the songs that your gonna sing for the audition. Then drink the tea. And try not to talk and save your voice for the audition. That's what I've always done and I've been in 28 musicals and it's always helped me.

Why do boys have ask girls out and why cant girls ask boys out. It make it so much more complicated for the boys. And the boys will never have a girlfriend if they are to shy to ask out the girl they like. (link)

I think the reason why boys have to ask girls out instead of the other way around is because it's all part of being a gentlemen. And girls are more outgoing than guys I think, and for a guy to ask a girl out is showing true affection.

hey. well, to get right to it, there's this guy i fell in love with. he's a senior, and i'm a freshman, but i still love him more than life itself. but there are so many problems....he is my 19th cousin...do u think that's bad? then there's his "new" girlfriend. and the fact that he loves his 3rd cousin, which is worse than me. but the real problem is he is a vampire. i'm serious. he sucks his blood and everything! he's even tried to kill me a number of times. but i still fell in love with him somehow. but the day i found out he had a girlfriend, i slit my wrist 23 times. i've been doing it every night for almost a month now because of him. now, i'm not pretty or skinny, so it's not like i have another guy to like instead. do you have any advice? and then...there's my second problem. i'm 14, and there's this really nice, really sweet 22 year old who loves me. and i have no clue what to do. he's a minister, but he has a bad past and reputation. some of my friends are afraid that he'll rape me or something like that. but i like him alot. what should i do? cuz it's kinda illegal.......well, thanks in advance for any help you can offer. You seem really mature. But what's NOT mature is trying to kill yourself! You shouldn't do that just because of a guy. Are you sure that it was love? Or was it just lust? I believe that us teens are to young to be in "love". I believe in lust now days...there IS a difference between love and lust. But believe what you want. A piece of my advice would be to get a boy your own age. You are trying to find love to soon. Love will come to you. There are plenty of guys your age that might suit your likings. He doesn't have to be 22 or 19 or anywhere along those lines. As I said, love will come to you. whether its a week, a month, a year or years! Sometimes you have to wait for your prince charming to come and have your fairy-tale ending. But in the end when you find that special somebody that's your own age and that truely LOVES you, you'll be glad you waited and you didn't spare your life for that 22 and 19 year old.

I like this girl at my school but she is 1 year older than me and in 1 grade ahead of me. She is on my bus and lives really close to me. I dont think she is very popular or has a boyfriend witch is good because im not very popular I mean I have a lot of friends but we are not in the popular group. How well do you know this girl? Do you guys talk to each other often? Do you think she likes you? When it comes to age, age doesn't matter. Its how much you guys feel about each other that counts. I once dated a guy that was 2 years younger than me. 14 and 11. Nobody made fun of us. They were mostly jealous. If you guys really like each other and if you feel comfortable dated someone that's 1 year older than you, then I say go for it and see how it turns out. I'd like to know how everything goes!

You say that your a great guy like being funny and you have a nice personality, but you just aren't the chick magnet. Is there any girl that you like? If you find a girl that you really want to be a couple with, try this. Get to know her, get to know what she likes. And if its a talent and you've seen her talent, tell her how good she was. Girls always like complements. Or try to make her laugh since you are such a funny guy. Girls also like a guy with good sence of humor. But really try and get to know her and let her get to know you. Love relationships always start out as good friends. But don't try and get/date a girl just because you never had one. Tell me how everything goes!

Guys are always flirting with me. Not to say that I'm all that. Anyway...guys are so predictable and somtimes shy. Like they won't always ask you out but they will always flirt with you. How do I know that they are flirting? They seem to always make you laugh, or they make fun of you. Or they be touchy with you, like tickling you for example. They will complement you all the time just so that you can say, "AWWW". Or they will show off you (even if they aren't good at it or if they mess up on their stunt/trick.) If a guy does something along those lines to you, then he is totally crushing you. Tell me what signs/things you've seen him do to you and I will tell you if he's flirting or not.
