Okay, so i REALLY like this guy. But I don't think he would like me back. I'm in 8th grade and i've never gone on a date or "gone out" with anyone before. If I asked out any guy in the school they'd probably rush me to the hospital or ask me if I was joking. I dunno, maybe i just have low self esteem. But the guy I like is pretty quiet and really smart. Please don't tell me to just go for it, cause if he said no, it would haunt me forever!! (i'm sort of a drama queen. shut up.) So I guess my question is: How can you tell if a guy likes you/would go out with you without actually asking him? (link)

invite him to a simple group outing. get comfortable with him. then less... then less... then less... then less people in a group. coaze his male instincts out! he is man! hear him grunt! pwahaha! ok... or if you want the easy way, get him drunk and force the truth outta him. ^-^ be careful if you try this.

Okay, there are a couple of guys that I like, and I've never had a boyfriend before (I'm a junior in high school). I keep getting hints from other people that they like me, but I just don't have any clue whether or not they like me, and I really am getting tired of trying to listen to people who have no clue what they're talking about when they say that someone likes me. Any suggestions on how I can figure it out for myself without asking them straight out or asking their friends or mine?

haha... i remember this stage... you can do many things. keep up now.
1) tell a blabbermouth you like him. she'll probably tell him and he might loosen up
2) my first relationship started when i was asked to be taken to a dance. casualy, mind you. then we got closer
3) become really good friends. anyhow, it's good to have friends. close enough to hug if you please. perhaps even a friendly kiss on the cheek like in some spanish countries. and as you get closer, mayhap you see something behind their eyes. look closely. act a little more cuddly than usual. boys aren't all that stupid. they might get a hint.

I have in a relationship with a guy for almost a year now, and we have both declared our love for each other. I believe that we have a pretty strong relationship. We have a had the highs and lows, we both survived each other's families and each other's quirky little habits. I love him.
I'm currently enrolled in a theater class which requires us to sometimes be pretty intimate with each other. One of my really good guy friends is also in this same class with me. We had to do one scene where we had to kiss. That wasn't a big deal, it was a pretty quick kiss and it didn't mean anything in my part, however, during the time that we presented the scene, when he kissed me, he held onto much MUCH longer than necessary. There I was, with my eyes closed, my heart thudding like a maniac, my mind racing not knowing whether to pull away and suffer a bad grade knowing full well that we were kissing in front of an entire audience. This guy friend and I have always been flirtatious and all, but that was about as much as it went. It's just really bad timing coz I'm in a relationship...
I felt really guilty about the kiss for some reason even though it wasnt my fault so I called Jeff(my boyfriend) and told him about it. He was cool with it, and said as long as it was just "acting" it's alright... what didn't tell him though is I really liked how my guy friend kissed me. REALLY LIKED IT.
Does every girl go through a phase like this? I love Jeff, but then how can I like kissing someone else and love him at the same time? Please help. (link)

I'm a bisexual girl, who comes from a pretty small town/highschool that doesnt have much diversity. My close friends all know im bi, but no one else does and I'm thinking of comming out. I don't realy know how to do it, however. It's not like I'd make an announcement about it or anything. "Hi, nice to meet you, I'm a bisexual." lol. Anyway I guess my question is does anyone have any advice about how to go about doing it? I mean if it comes up I'll be honest. but there are people who are friends who I'm close enough to to tell them, but would it be like overdramatic or self centered or something to just say it? any ideas on the topic? you don't have to TELL anyone. let it come out little at a time and with that time, people will be able to get used to and respect you. are these people your friends? you'll find out this way.

man, i broke up with my boyfriend this summer and he's still my best guy friend. breaking up doesn't mean anything when it comes to caring... but in a different way than romance. my ex and i still talk normaly and nothing is different. the only thing is that we don't kiss or anything. we still hug and stuff, but that's because we understood eachother so we could have a friendship. do you understand your ex? i did.

Okay. Here's the story. First I'll introduce the people that are involved or I will lose you. Rose is our age but went to a private school about an hour away this year. Another girl, Emily is still going to this school. Her sister Julianne just started going to our school and likes Billy. Last year, Billy liked Rose and found out that he liked her too. They didn't go on any dates or anything and Rose hasn't seen him since the end of the school year. Now, Billy likes Emily. Rose still thinks he likes her. Billy was going to ask Emily to the school dance last week but he didn't get the nerve to. For the first slow dance, he danced with Julianne. After Julianne, he danced all the dances wth Emily. Now Julianne is really jealous and not speaking to Billy or Emily. It may not seem like this is my business but i was there and witnessed it all and Billy asked me post it here after he heard about the site because his computer has a virus. He wants to know how to tell Rose he doesn't like her and how he should fix things up with Julianne and Emily and him. Any ideas? And I hope this made sense. (link)

ok. well. first off. you have a friend? named BILLY??? ok now... if he wants rose to kno he don like her no more, just tell her goddammit! people break up all the time! no biggie! it's just another step closer to finding the right person in life. as for julianne and emily. julianne should be able to accept this. if not, she's a spoiled lil prat who thinks she should have anyone she wants. if she really is a caring sister and she'd just accept that sometimes things that make other people happy... won't make her happy.

Hi, Four month ago I broke up with my boyfriend, and I don't no the causes of the break-up.I saw him change, we used to go out together but he stopped and other many things in general his behaviour change totally, and one day he called me and said I think we should be friends, I did not understand why and I was'nt ready for that because I loved him. Days goes by and the behavior change, I did everything I could to keep him nothing change. Then the days goes buy I decided to keep myself busy and move on.We still call each other sometimes. He forget if I have his email address pass..sometimes I look at the email and I found another girl write to him, and according to the emails he sound he is going out with the girl and never told me.
Why did he do that to me and what should i do, I still thinking about him sometimes but I don't want to go back to a lier. WHAT CAN I DO AND WHY HE DID THAT??

well. there's this boy at my church and his parents are like that. his mother is a christian and his father an atheist. sometimes things get a bit rough and such and he gets kinda frusterated with his parents, but everything works out. we were told to pray for him, hoping to lead him to God. this might be just the guy you're looking for all your life and things may just work out.... leading into getting married!!! ahhhh!!!! but whatever you do, do NOT let your christianity go.

I know this person who has really annoying habits on the internet. There are no periods, so it takes forever to try to understand her, and she uses numbers in the middle of words(c u l8er, g2g, etc) . It wouldn't really bother me too much except she goes on forever, and she can't spell. She also capitalizes random words and uses ... or ! after every other word. What can I do to tell her that is annoying me? She is one of my closest friends, but it is driving me crazy! (link)

ask her politely. duh. if she's a close friend, she'll be able to understand something as simple as to use proper punctuation and grammar. i mean, it's not a huge change. all she has to do is spell like she has to at skool.

i need to think of some good cheap ways to stay warm on a camping trip this weekend. it's gonna be really freaking cold, and I don't want to buy and expensive -80 degree sleeping bag because i don't go camping all that often, but i'm afraid i'm going to freeze to death. what should i bring to keep me really warm? i know about wool but are there other really good fabrics to be sure to wear? wear fleecy stuff and such! cotton socks are good. BIG AND FLUFFY cotton socks. ^-^ or you can always just set your head on fire. you'll keep warm two ways! one, you'll be running around like a maniac and that'll keep the blood pumpin, and your head will be all toasty warm! ^-^-^ heehee.... =PPP... actually... don't do that.

I have to drink coffee every day to survive. I don't drink a ton of it, probably two cups a day in the morning. My friends and I used to have a day we'd call "detox thursday" where we wouldn't drink coffee all day, but I was starting to hate detox thursdays because I felt tired and grumpy all day so I quit doing it with them. Does this mean I'm addicted? Is coffee really that bad for me? It's way better than soda, right? (link)

coffee and soda are both bad for you. try to drink less coffee each day... slowly. eventually u'll be able to survive the day with only a bottle of water probably. ^-^ coffee is evil.
