My name is Musician, or at least, that's what i call myself. That might be because I play three different instruments, some better than others. i had a low fever yesterday now i just have a lot of sinus drainage, and runny nose and my head feels congested. any tips on making it go away faster? (link)

make sure to keep a cloth on your forehead and drink lots of orange juice and warm soup. The soup should help clean your sinuses and the Vitamin C in the orange juice should help with everything else. Plus, LOTS AND LOTS of sleep. It's the best cure when you are sick. Get well soon!

I usually HATE questions like this on advicenators so I'm really sorry! But, this is driving me INSANE. Yes, I've googled it...plenty of times, changed my wording, etc--many different results, but not the one I want. I was in Forever 21 yesterday, and this song came on. It was like "..why don't they understand..." and the voice was kind of like Hilary Duff. Weird thing is, I googled it, and nothing matched up. Can anyone please help me before I lose my mind over this song? (link)

There's a talent show at my school coming up really soon and I'd like to play piano and sing. :-) Does anyone know any really nice piano songs that I could play piano and sing to? I HAVE THE PERFECT THING!! I memorized this on the piano. It may seem hard at first, but once you get it, it is no problem at all.

If you were watching ABC last week you probably saw the commercial for the 1/11 episode of Men in Trees. The song on the commericial went like this:

I cry alot lately. I cannot stay focused on one thing. I often forget what I'm talking about. I hate the city I live in more than anything. I would do absolutely anything to get out of here. I can't stand half of my "friends". I don't have anyone that I can trust or talk to about my problems or whatever. I'm sick of boys. I haven't ate NEAR as much as I used to. I talk to my self alot, I know that's weird.. but true. I day dream alot, about things I wish would happen. I don't feel like doing much of anything anymore. I sleep more than I used to. I never think about suicide or ANY thing at all like it. But I don't know what's wrong with me or what to do. Should I go to a doctor, psychologist, counselor, etc? Or is there something else that can help? Ergh, please help.
If it helps; I'm not fat (i weigh 110) or ugly. I'm popular around my school. I'm 16 years old.
Recently, I made a HUGE change in my life. I used to drink alcohol, party alot, do things I should have never done. But now, I don't drink, cuss, go to parties, nothing. I attend church 2-3 times a week. I pray daily.
Could this have anything to do with it?

no worries. i know just how you feel. congrats on giving up the party life. what you need to do is to try and confide in the person you trust with your life. Tell everything and try and open up a bit. It should feel good to let it all out. Usually, if you dont have a friend that you totally trust, try your counselor. they are there especially for this kind of thing and they make sure to keep it private. Hope i helped!

I love singing. But i have a shyness of singing in front of people. I have before and people were shocked. I think im really talented at singing but it just the shyness that is a problem. How do i get over something like that? (link)

lol. I'm the exact same person! Only 2 of my closest friends have ever heard me sing. And barely, too. But they tell me i can sing, but im just too shy to. To tell you, try singing a couple times at home, like in your room. And after that, maybe you can sing to a couple of close friends. Then you can try roaming around the house or neighborhood a bit. After that is when you try and sing nearly everywhere you go, and by then, i'll gaurantee that your shyness will be 99% gone! Nobody can lose shyness 100%.

Okay well in the background of the commerical, there's this really pretty piano-like song playing and I really want to know what song it is and who the artist is. I know they play this song for the movie previews for "The Lake House" on InDemand but I'm pretty sure this song is on every Lake House commerical. If anybody knows what song it is, that'd be great! 15/f. This is really long, just going to warn you now. I commend you even if you don't give me advice if you just read the whole thing.
I seem to be good at solving problems for everyone but myself. There's this guy, he's a senior at another school kind of far away and we've only met once, back in June. After we met for the first time, he asked me out. My sister spoke to him a few times and hates him for no reason, but for once that isn't the issue.
So over the summer I assumed that him asking me out was a relationship and that blew up in my face. He told me that it wasn't and I was very embarrassed and hurt and stopped speaking to him. I only came out with that story recently (I took my guilt out of it before) because he and I became very close again. So close, in fact, that he told me that he wants to take me to all the dark, secluded places where he lives. And many times this week it seemed like he had to tell me something but was too nervous. Then on Friday, he almost told me that he liked me, but said that we had to wait to be in person, which could've been as soon as this Thursday (and still could be). I was ecstatic. Then yesterday, he told me that he also likes me and another girl who goes to his school who he sees every day, and he thinks that she likes him. He's telling me as his "escape" because I don't know her and can't tell her anything. And then he says "It's a problem because if I go out with her and something happens with you, then I'm screwed." I've been on/off liking him for a month and I am just so sick of this crap. Thank you for reading.

He probably really DOES like you, but if he has an "escape", you really should just end it. If he is going to love you, he should love you and you ONLY. Because, if he really does love you that much, there should be no need to have another as back-up. Right?
