advice

Ok well this might sound stupid 2 u but I am very worried. Ok well all of my friends think tht I'm 14 but I'm not I'm 15. I just entered h.s and all my friends think we are the same age. Well I need help please help me make up a lie. Because I need them 2 think that I am 14. Ok in gym class we have 2 write our bate of birth and I can't they will know I am 1 yesr older please help me.
Ps. I know lying is bad but I am desperate.
And please don't say 2 tell them the truth because I can't thanks!

Sorry to ask, but you were kind of unclear.
Why can't they know that you're a year older? What difference does it make?
A lot of freshmen are 15 when they enter high school. Chances are, it won't really matter. You're just stressing yourself out with all of the little details.
I know this isn't the advice you're looking for.. but just tell them! =P

Hey, I found out i was gay a couple of years ago and now i think might be able to tell my parents but im not sure. Anyways, theres this really hot guy in my grade who i really like and want to ask out. Would it be bad to go out with someone without my parents knowing that im gay? and would it be unfair for the guy if he's out and im not?

Hey,
In this case, it's probably better to come out first. That way you won't feel like you're hiding anything from your parents, and they can learn to adapt to you dating other guys.
I'm not sure whether it would be unfair to the guy if he's out and your not. But coming out first is definitely a good idea. He might even ask you out if he knows your gay and likes you.
Sorry if this wasn't the help you were looking for. =P

ok. i run track but i am soooo out of shape.. my friend and i are getting in shape and track tryouts are in less than a month. making it is not the problem.. i no ill make it i was on the teamm last year and my coach always talks to me and my friend about what events we are doing this year. but anyway. i guess u would have to no us to understand but our track coach expects ALOT from us so in gym we have to run a mile and he wants us to do it in under 7 minutes b/c we are in 8 grade and he said track runners in 8 grade should be able to run a mile in under 7 min. well we both have no endurance and are strictly sprinters. anybody have any tips in running a mile?
sorry its so long

If you're just starting out, chances are you aren't going to be able to run a mile in under 7 minutes. To do so, I suggest trying to run everyday, even if it's just on a treadmill.
I don't think there are any specific "tips" about running a mile, just practice, stretch, breath the right way, and hydrate yourself.
Good luck. =P

ohkay so its like this. last year
me and my best friend were in all
of the same classes and we were
together 24/7. this year we dont
have 1 class together and never
see each other so we dont talk.
i really miss her and i talk to
her online but we never have anything
to say and shes like a stranger to me
and its weird knowing we used to be
best friends... i really wanna be her bff
again but shes always busy and can never
hang out so we keep growing farther and farther
apart.i wanna be her friend again
help =/

The two answers below me basically said it all. Ask her if, for at least a couple of minutes a day, you guys could talk on the phone and catch up.
Also, if she's always using "being busy" as an excuse, she may not want to be your friend anymore. I know how life can be overwhelming sometimes, but she must have some spare time. even if it is a couple of minutes. Hopefully that's not the case, though.

the dance is coming up in one week, and i dont have anyone to go with!!!
i need advice on how to get a date quick!!

Why do you need a date so badly?
If you go with a friend or a group of close friends, it will most likely be more fun and less stressful. That way you won't have to worry about being with your date the whole dance.

Do any of yall have any new cingular phones? i looked online but i dont really like how some of them look. they are like.. all black. but if anyone has a cool one let me know! im gettin a new phone!

I too have the Rokr. If you don't like a cingular phone, then just wait until a new phone you like better comes out.
By the way, it's best NOT to buy a cover for your phone. My sister had a phone that worked perfectly well until she got a cover, and then she couldn't recieve texts, view pictures, or access the internet. Cingular will accuse the damage as being done by the cover, and you'll have to pay to get it fixed or get a new phone. Just so you know. =P

Hey,
I thought since you said you did track and lacrosse and everything, that I'd ask you about a sports question I need advice on.
So, I started lacrosse recently, and it's my first year. I'm an athletic person, and I pick up on sports really easily, and it's the same way with lacrosse. But the girls on my team have been playing all of their life, and they all know eachother. I get really intimidated by them, so intimidated that I can't play well against them.
How can I fear them less and play better with them around?
I'll rate 5 for good advice..
-Alisha

I understand where you're coming from. I was exactly the same way you were with soccer, and it's a challenge to show people that you're just as good, if not better, than they are.
I suggest that you picture the person as one that you really loathe, and get all of your agressions out, as lacrosse is good for that. It sounds silly when spelled out, but it works. Don't look or acknowledge them when you play, and you'll show them that you are just as tough as they are. Also, in a matter of time, you'll get to know them better and will be able to eventually play as a team. I recommend that you get to talking with them more and you won't be so intimidated that way.
Sorry if this is a bit of bad advice..

For some reason everytime my ex boyfriend is around I make sure I'm all over my current boyfriend. Why is this??

The answer is mere jealousy. It's a natural human emotion, and judging by your actions, you still have feelings for your ex. I think evetually, unless you have very strong feelings for this guy, the jealously will diminish.
Hope I helped.

i am 16 and my boyfriend has been talking about getting married he said he was going to ask me to marry him soon...how do you guys feel about teenage marriage? and why do you feel this way? i need ohter teens advice! thanks xox

I'm 17 years old, and marriage is probably the last thing on my mind. Keep in mind that you'll meet new people after highschool, and you have your whole life ahead of you. I strongly suggest that you think this over carefully, but in the end do what you think is right, not what your boyfriend thinks is right.
Hope I helped.
