Ummm by the way, super advice giver, i lived in toronto for 2 years. Maybe its you who just hasnt left yet, and seen anything else? Either way, toronto is fun and i dont deny it, but its hard to meet people when it is so big and there are soooo many people, and like you said, some areas are dangerous. Halifax is a community, all areas are safe, and all the clubs and bars are great. There are more bars per capita there than in the whole world. She would also spend a lot less money by going to Hali.

Im the same way.
I always check out a girl- and im thinking it has something to do with the fact that, A) girls are very competitive and have a sort of subconscious tendency to measure themselves up against others, and B)we might be bisexual. Which is ok with me. and should be ok with you because there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

1. go shopping and spend money on really nice things that fit you well. you can do this without spending a fortune
2. stand infront of the mirror everyday and tell yourself what you like about you. Get to know yourself, and build up your selfconfidence.
3. Know that you are the shit. you are the bomb. a confident girl beats a hot girl with no confidence. im not saying you arent hot, that of course i dont know. but honestly, if you can just feel confident in what you are wearing, WORK IT! if you can strut your stuff, and be confident, people will be attracted to you.
4. Be positive. about life, about you, about your future, etc. Everything that has happened in your life so far, the people you have met, the things you have done and recieved and given, have been attracted by you. think about what you want. you can achieve it. these little tips can help you achieve it. YOU ROCK! people just dont know it yet.
so build up your confidence!! go to a nice salon and get them to style and cut your hair and they will know what looks best on your head shape, face shape, hair texture, etc. just feel good, and you will look good, and confidence comes with that.

'lengthening' mascara is the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen. how would putting on mascara make your eyelashes 'look' longer? hahaah its ridiculous. i'd say, either go to the drugstore or mac or sephora and get some fake eyelashes. you can buy some that dont look too fake, so you can wear them to school and they wont be too crazy. Shop around and ask for help when looking for the right ones.

You could have a urinary tract infection, but its not contageous - and its not too serious, so long as you get it fixed. Go to your doctor and get checked out to make sure, becuase it could be a few things. Cranberry juice helps fend utc's away.

Run every day for 30 minutes, and walk for another 30. Or do the whole, run for 5, walk for 2 etc.
Cardio is the key to fat loss, and the other key to fat loss is DIET. Crunches and situps and stuff like that build musscle, not make you lose fat.
I am just coming to terms with the fact that I will never lose my love handles unless I start eating right. First, minimize your portions!!! The portion size these days has basically trippled. When you go to a restaurant, order a healthy choice and eat a bit less than a fist size of everything. If you crave choclate, have a little piece. If you crave sugar, have one candy. A craving lasts about 15 minutes, so when you crave something, set a timer, and watch tv or get pre-occupied. At the end of 15, you shouldn't still crave it, or want it as bad. If you still want it, have that ONe piece.
If you can hold off your cravings for a week, they will come less and less and not last as long or come on as strong as before.

OK, so, it's spring break and about 5/7 of my friends are somewhere they can get a nice tan.
I live in CT, and it's been cold & rainy these last couple days. There's no way I can get a tan. I want to go tanning, but my parents won't let me because a.) we don't have any money, b.)they don't want me to get skin cancer and c.) i don't really have a ride to get there.
Spray/lotion tanners really don't work with me. I turn orange. So, please don't tell me to try this one or that one..I've already tried them. But thank you. :)
And there aren't any spray-on tanning centers near me.
So, my questions are...
1.)How can I get tan!?!?!

2.) [This doesn't really have to do with tanning] With only 3 days left to spring break, how can I make myself look different? I can't dye my hair, my parents won't let me. I don't have any money to get new clothes..

without tanner, the sun, a tanning bed, or anything else, you cannot get a tan.
Jergens and Dove work wonders. just make sure you rub it all in and use it once a day.
flip through a vogue magazine or a cosmo or a seventeen and see new hair ideas. mess it up, tease it, braid it, get creative. and look for cool new makeup things to try as well.

Okay, so I haven't had my period yet and I think I'll have it towards the month's end. And my birthday happens towards the month's end. So here's the prob: my fam and friends will go on an out of town trip and we'll go swimming. Now, how the heck can I swim when I have my period? I don't use tampons but I heard that if you use tampons while swimming then there's nothing to worrry about. Is that true?! And I've also heard this thing that the "flow" stops once you're underwater so you don't have to worry. Is this also true or is this just a myth?!

Yes, if a tampon is properly inserted, it wont leak. Just make sure to change it every 3-4 hours. I think the reason why it might stop under water is becuase of the pressure the water puts on you. But even if it does stop when you are underwater, can you imagine what would happen when you get out?! yikes!
So yes, use a tampon, and make sure you read the package and use it properly.

Im guessing you live in the states and therefore health care is not free. Move to canada asap.
It should heal over time--- can you call the doctor and ask about it? have you found anything else on the net? Im guessing not. But just tryyyy not to burst the blister. it will heal.

why would you be screwed if your doctor knew?
they cant tell unless you tell them.
dont hide what you've done, especially with your doc. If you guy has herpes on his mouth, he can pass it to you through oral. If he doesnt wash his hands, he can give you a bacterial infection from fingering you. there are many things that you need to be aware of when you are just "fooling" around, and many things you shouldnt be afraid to tell your doctor. it comes down to your health. Be honest so that you wont have to suffer later on.

i got my preriod very late.. so my boyfriend think that i am pregnant. we went to the clinic for five times and i took five urine test. it all came out negative. i am really scared because my stomach is getting big than it was. after that clinic that i took five urine test, i went to a different clinic. when i took another test. it came out negative.
does this means that i am not pregnant? or the test is just messing up. i've been hearing that the urine test is not accurate and also the blood test. i dont know what to do. they wont let me have a ultra sound so i know if its in there or not.

Im pretty sure that if you had that many tests and they were all negative, you arent pregnant. And your stomach could be getting bigger for other reasons. After all, you said you did get your period, and bloating definately is a side affect for that time of the month. Also you could be gaining weight. If you arent on the pill right now, I suggest you go on it. And wear a condom. Im not sure if you wore a condom this time or was on the pill, or both, but if you are freaking out this much, maybe you arent ready for sex... let alone the consequesces... Anyway, you do what you want, but make sure you are protected and you wont get a scare again!!

It's supposed to get a guy going, and have him last longer during sex...but how long do you have to wait after fooling around before having sex? For the guy, if you want him to last longer during sex, make him cum during foreplay, and then get him to finger you/eat you out(im assuming you are a girl? maybe not, its hard to tell, but you catch my drift) and warm you up so that when do you start having sex when hes ready, you will be closer to orgasm/climax... becuase it generally takes a girl longer to cum than a guy.
As for how much time it takes, just ask him, or see when his dick gets hard again - that will be a good way to tell if he is ready to go again. Either way, after he cums the first time, get him to fool around with you until hes ready again, and you will be more than ready.

OK I was just thinking about what you could do for a while in my head, and it just came to me:
You must make the currently green and white wall all green. Then, on the wall across from that one, you should take the same green, pink, orange, and yellow (or maybe just pink orange and yellow - but I think all 4 would be nice too) and do the polka dots idea. Fairly big dots, all different sizes, spaced out and not to many! That would be really nice.
I think the mix of color is busy, but its nice too. and you hopefully wont get bored of it too quickly. And if you do, you can always paint the soon to be solid green wall a different one of the other 3 colors. know what I mean?
