i think you should try to explain this to him try saying "i wanted to talk to you about something, but could you please listen to me and not get mad?" or something like that, explain that you diserve the same respect as he does. set him straight or break it off.

i wouldnt worry about it, usually when a girl starts her period its irregular the first few years, if you are seriously that worried ask a parent and see a doctor.
