last year I went abroad for a semester with AFS it was AWESOME. I went to Costa Rica, I really connected with the place. I'm pretty sure to make the actual heart it is like a light stick or flashlight/led type thing and then you set the shutter speed really slow on the camera, then move the light in a heart shape over and over while someone takes the picture.

No offense, but after eating a meal you wouldn't expect your stomach to get smaller would you? That happens to everybody. The only way to make that "pouch" go away is to poop. Just as long as you are eating healthy and staying active, you shouldn't worry about that at 15 years old.

finally found someone like me : ). Yep, I've gotten canker sores my WHOLE life too. Luckily, in the last few months they have slowed down a little bit. Here's what I did.
1) started drinking bottled water, limited tap water.
2) stopped eating candies with lots of color dyes in them (eg m&m's, skittles, etc)
3) pretzels (they have a unique type of yeast in them that has been known to cause canker sores)
4) some vitamins- zinc, regular centrum, vitamin c, and acidopholis)
5) salt water rinse (I know it hurts, but it really does soothe the pain.)

and when they get REALLY bad (like one time I had 8 in my mouth at once) I get a numbing mouthwash from my dentist.

I am not sure which one of these things is working for me, but I really would rather not experiment. I'm just so happy to not have any more sores!

I hope one of these things works for you like they did for me... although there are sooooo many causes of canker sores out there

Okay i'm going to give you the lecture even though you probably don't want to hear it. Probably around 99 percent of the time, at your age, a guy that is 5 years older than you is either trying to use you or take advantage of you. Not to mention it's illegal for you guys to actually "do anything" in a lot of places; which again, at his age, would be what he wants to do. Now if you were, say, 18, and he was 23 that would be a lot better because you have both fully matured.

Sorry, I have to say that because it's the truth even though I know you don't wanna hear it. Go to a ritzy mall and they should have everything; teeth, nails, clothes, piercings (think hard before you do that) and hair.

Also, you should not USE guys for popularity. Bad idea.

You have four options here:

1. Tell her that she needs to be more responsible and come to school and not skip (although if you want to stay her friend DO take notes for her on the days that she is REALLY sick.)

2. Tell her that you can photocopy the notes but she needs to pay for them.

3.Don't do anything; keep on giving her notes...

4. Or if you would like to go the extra mile to teach her about responsibility, just make a seperate page of really bad notes and copy them for her and give those to her, so that way if she wants to keep that 91 avg she has to come to school. Just keep a better set of notes for yourself : )

Anyways If she's a good friend I dont think she would stop the friendhsip for any of these reasons, and if she does she is not worth being friends with.

that's funny because I used to do the same thing, my face would get soooo red. First of all,if you have fair complexion youre going to get a little red. Actually, most people do but if you have a darker skin tone you dont see it as well. But I used to do the same exact thing, until I went to a new school and at this new school like my WHOLE class was my friend, and when I would get done speaking they would all laugh out loud and say "you were SOO red!" So finally, I just laughed with them, and said "yeah i always do" and when I finally accepted the fact that I was going to blush and didn't get self conscious of it, it finally stopped. I think maybe the reason you blush is because you know you are blushing, if that makes sense.

Thats funny that I just read this question cuz a few minutes ago I was just thinking about how unique and distinct and great and terrible it feels when you are in love. I dont know if it feels the same for everyone, but for me when I fell in love the first and only time, I would go to bed feeling like my stomach was in knots and I was going to throw up, although it shouldn't actually make you sick, but it's a very very distinct feeling when you can't think about anything else but HOW MUCH you like him/her. Like everyone else said: Trust me, you will know when you are in love.

Medical transcription would be something to look into. I watched my mom do it all growing up. It's just a part time job, and I loved to sit and watch her do it because we got to see behind all the doctor patient confidentiality stuff, not that THAT has anything to do with taking the job. But my mom got paid pretty well, and with the hospital she worked with, it wasn't to hard of work. It's basically working on your own hours, as long as you get the job done on time. But maybe you could go to a foreign country where it is legal, order her, smuggle her through customs, all while managing to keep her alive. Are you talking about the City? In NYC, I dont know about the rest of the state, but here is an excerpt from SuperMario on a forum I found,

There are many reasons why your hair might be falling out. 1) being sick with some illnesses (even the cold or flu) can cause hair loss in some people. If you are sick right now, wait until you get better and see if the hair problem is resolved. 2) Certain medications can cause slight hair loss. Research any medications that you are on currently to for side effects of hair loss. 3) Alopecia Areata, it is a skin disease that causes hair loss, and you should see your doctor if you think you have this. 4) Poor nutrition. Try adding more proteing and/or iron into your diet. 5) Styling/hair products. Some styling products in your hair can damage it and cause it to fall out. Try taking or substituting these products. It kind of depends on how well you know him. If you two are older and are close to each other's families, then it would be okay to either gently talk to him and maybe to get him to talk to her and start "cuddling" a little earlier so that she has time to go back to bed in her own room. Or, if you personally know his sister, then you could talk to her yourself and/or lay with her in her room, tell her a story, or whatever to make her feel safe. ON the other hand, if you do not know the family well, then it really isn't a place for you to step in. Either way, she will mostly likely grow out of it. Hope I helped!

It all depends on the person. If they enjoy partying and drinking, there are definitely resources out there to do that. If they don't like to do stuff like that, you aren't forced to or anything. So if you like to party and drink and do drugs, you can. But if you don't enjoy doing things like that, you certainly don't have to. I know people in college who drink and party, and I know people who just like to sit in their dorm, study, and hang out with friends. There are also parties and stuff that don't contain drinking or drugs. Hope I helped!! Ace
