OK, so [one] of my two best friends, Jake and Sophie went out for about a month. Sophie was telling me like, "I think I'm gonna break up with him. I just don't like him anymore." I was like, "All right, do what you want." Since they went out, I haven't really talked to Jake, so when Sophie broke up with him, I was hoping Jake and I could actually talk some more. They're cool now and still friends, but ever since Jake went to this party, there's been all these other girls. I mean, there always HAS been, but they haven't been as close to him as we were. But now on the phone he's like, "Oh, I gotta call you back. Other line."
"Ohh, who?" [Yea, I'm nosy.]
"One of my friends, Ayla. She's really cool. I think I'm gonna go on vaca with her."
"Oh. . and you met her when?"
"About a week."
Which is weird, cos Jake and I are SUPER close firends and we've never even gone somewhere except the movies. He also has this other girl he might ask out, and I'm sorta flipping. Asking out somebody new so soon? He just got dumped and I was HOPING to actually talk to him without his gf on the line.
I think we're departing, and there are more awkward silences on the phone than there ever was.

Well everyone handles brake-ups in a different way! So I you shouldn't worry about him and girls! You should talk to him on the phone and say hey wanna hang out and go to the movies or somewhere some time! I also suggest you guys to get AIM and talk to eachother on there! That way there can be no interferences! Umm... maybe just try to talk to him well you can! And just stay in touch and hang out more and talk more! When there are awkward silences you just have to bring up a topic like so hows your summer been or something like that! I really hope I helped!

I know I'm being paranoid, but the only thing that mortifies me about starting high school this year is what to wear...
I have some stuff from last year.. and some stuff that I got the summer before...
After how long should you stop wearing a shirt to school?
I gave away a lot of my shirts because they were over a year old, and I thought it was too long to keep a shirt and wear it regularly to school, so I am short on shirts now. I went shopping yesterday and got 2 Tshirts (HCO) and a few BF tanks. I have about 5 shirts besides that from last year.
I'm just stressed about wearing the same shirt/outfit too often.
How often do you think it's acceptable to repeat an outfit/shirt (I basically pair everything with some sort of denim something)?
Can someone just please tell me something or give me advice on how to stop being so mortified and nervous?

Ok well don't worry! Maybe don't wear the same outfit until maybe 1 week or 2 weeks went by! I really don't know how to answer that question ,but don't wear the same thing 2 times in 1 week! I really hope I helped!

ahhh i dont know what to do!! ok so i need advice and i need it fast.....
last semester i messed up big.... i tried a joint for the very first time (not so pleasant!!!) so after three days (wen the effect was dun) i emailed my best friend who lives in england with all the details... before i say what the problem is i have to mention that i was at a party and i kind of did things my parents would KILL me for. seriously i really messed up the rules and stuff. but before you guys start saying anything i really do feel guilty about them and promised myself not to screw up next year so that i don't loose their trust.... my mum knows about the drug.... though she thinks i've been drugged and thats about it no details. and she's forgiven me.
this brings me to the satan in my life... my sister. she such a brat she's 2 years younger. i don't even know how to begin. she is so righteous. she believes i sold my soul to the devil because i am friends with people not of "our class". anyway, i found out (well she told me) that email i sent to my frnd... i accidentally sent it to my sister. or so she says. knowing her i knew if she has it she wont delete it!!!!
she has three emails as far as i know. 2 on gmail one on hotmail. i dn't know if she cud have sent it to another one. anyway, i need to get rid of them before she decide to show it to my mum if she notices her verbal blackmails aren't working and my parents don't believe her.... i can't come clean with them... seriously they will kill me. how can i delete them??? can i hack into her account or can i hire someone to do it or something?????

Umm.. I really don't know how to hack her file ,but maybe just an idea be in the room when she's checking her E-mail and make an excuse for her to get out of the room and delet it then! But if all else fails and she reads it talk to her and say I know I've done a bad thing ,but your my sister and say and I know we don't get along ,but I love you and I really don't want anyone to know that! And that you sent it to her on mistake and she was never supposed to read it! But she should understand and if she does turn you into your parents I'm really sorry and you have one mean sister! i have dirty blonde hair, but it's mostly kind of like a weird brown color. maybe even dish water blonde is guess. i part my hair to the left and my bangs cut off at about the middle of my cheek. my hair length is hanging a little off my shoulders. I wanted to put streaks in my hair, but i didn't want blonde or chest nut colors in it. something kind of fun and goofy i guess you could say. any ways, i was wondering if you think purple or a color of pink would look good? maybe even a different color. what do you think? i know, it's a dumb question, but i want to go back to school with a new hair style :) (link)

so me and this guys like eachother. we have had a "thing" for like 6 months. at school we were all over eachother. i haven't seen him since the last day of school. we talk everyday on the phone but now i am going to see him tomorrow night at this amusement park. i don't know what to expect. i still like him and he still likes me. is it going to be awkward? i don't want it to be so how can i make it not be? also, my friends are going but i don't know some of his friends that are cause they go to a diff. school. Well I'm sure nothing has changed with him ,but just be yourself to him like you always been and play it cool and well just don't be awkward and he won't! Be yourself and maybe ask him out or something! If you both like eachother nothing should change as long as you are yourself to him!

So my family & all of our relatives want to plan a huge family vacation. The ages range from 7-67 so there's a big range. We are planning on going next year during the summer. We all live in Rhode Island and we don't wanna go to far and we have 1 person who won't go on a plane. We MIGHT be able to do a cruise, we're not sure everyone can afford it. We're looking for somewhere with nice beaches, shopping centers, and possibly an amusement park. We've already done New Hampshire and Massachusetts. If you know of any good vacation spots not to far away (nothing like California or Florida) then please let me know. =] If you could describe them that would be great. (link)

Umm.. I was thinking in Illinois there is Six Flags (amusement park) and close to it is Wisconsin and theres Wisconsin Dells (water park) and in Indiana and Michigan there are some great beaches! It could kinnda be a all around thing and there all close together! In Chicago, Illinois there are beaches, shopping centers, Navie Pier, and it's a tourist place so... well I can't think of any other things that are kinda close ,but hope I helped!

im a female and 18 years of age
i lived with my mom from the time i was born until i was 13. then i went to live with my adopted dad because was a physically and emotionally abusive person. well, when i was 17 (i am 18 right now) i went to visit her and her husband, which is my step dad, because i thought maybe she had changed. what happened was she abused me again, and cut me with a knife. also, she let my step dad try to rape me while she helped. even though all this happened, i still have feelings for her and i feel bad getting her in trouble. is that wrong? should i go through with the court and press charges?? some good, honest advice would be really helpful. It is very wrong what she did to you and I think you should press charges! I'm not saying that you shouldn't stop loving her ,but for her and your sake you should press charges! Maybe it will change her umm.. attitude towards you and she'll be better!

well, im a 17 year old female and very mature for my age. i dont hangout with much people my age or from my school. i started hooking up with this guy, he just turned 24. we both like eachother and it sucks, because we already discussed we cant date because im just 17. since 18 is the legal age he says he wishes i was 18 but would prfer 20. it just really sucks cuz i like him alot now. and we talked about what we would do if we find other people or start hooking up with someone else, and he told me he`d probably not say anything, just stop talking to me. and yeah that sucks, but the worst part is , is that i`d be really hurt if that actually happened. what should i do and what can i say to him? i never get like this, never end up like guys, especially like this, i am not a clingy person (link)

Well I'm only 14 ,but I have been alot of relationships. So if you both like each other age should not matter! He might be using that as an excuse ,but probably not! You should probably say like if we both have feelings for eachother age shouldn't matter and just be very nice and understanding to what he says back! And be very open and maybe if you can't be boyfriend- girlfriend say well can we still be friends and hang out and maybe if you guys hang out for a while he'll really actually believe age doesn't matter and you'll end up together! But just be nice and hang out and stuff!

I'm 14 and I have high cholesterol. I know it's sad, but I can't really decide what I eat. My parents buy the food. I'm jogging daily though. I'm just afraid I will die in my twenties. Plus high cholesterol runs in my family. My mom has it and does he parents. I really got it by genetics, but then with the food I eat it doesnt work all that great. What cna I do since I don't buy the food for the house. I don't want to die in my twenties. (link)

Just tell your mom or who ever buys the food what you really feel and that the food isn't working for your high cholesterol problem and remember google is your friend!

Brad was my next door neighbor for 3 years.. then i moved around the corner.. He used to tease me and stuff.. Then later on He and I started to have a thing.. we used to sneak into his garage and makeout.. Hes a good kisser lol.. anyways Then I reall wanted to tell my friend sarah so i did.. when my mom came home from work the next day she told my mom.. and yah he found out and was mad at me.. wouldnt even look at me.. so yah hes over it now tho.. but now we will be talking on msn and i will say whatsup and he will say ilu (iloveyou) so now im thinking is he playing me? Im not sure.. but i asked him to hang out with me next week. and he said yah so thats good..

Jacks mom works with my mom.. they are good friends.. They introduced us to eachother and hes really fine lookin.. anyways so yah we got along so well like weve known eachother for years.. so anyway hes really sweet. we went on the walk for cancer together with our moms and their co workers and it was freezing out so we sat in the tent to sleep and i was so cold that he cuddled with me all night to keep me warm and his guy friend was in the tent too and he didnt care so yah and weve been emailing eachother a lot lately and its really funn.. Hes only kissed a girl.. never made out or anything.. but i dont care about that. His mom is really protective of him so im scared that his mom wont like me if we were to date.. i really like him too..

Ok well Brad if he says i love you to you then I think you should say how you feel about him back! Mostly, if he is being real with you about liking you and you say ok what ever and stuff then he might change is feelings! So be real with him!
And Jack he sounds very sweet and that is wonderful! If you like him so much you shouldn't let his mom interfer! If you guys have feelings for eachother than his mom will except that and will let you guys *hang out*!
But 95% of neibors get married ,but you can change that if you want!

Ok well if your bangs are long enough you can comb them to one side and straighten your hair! You can also curl your hair in the morning if it looks good! Or get them in a clip on your head in the middle! Hope I helped!
