How can I become a better person?

well it really depends. you should probably more specific. i know this is kinda weird but a really good rule to follow is if you are talking to someone & you think you're going to say something mean or w/e .. just think .. I asked my friend Erica to hold my camera the other day, cause I didn't have a purse. She claims she gave it back to me, but I don't remember her doing so. Now its lost, I've searched all the places we went that day twice, and my house several times. My other friend who was with us, [ Erica stayed at her house for the week cause she was visiting us from another state] has said that she hasn't seen the camera at all, and that she thinks Erica took it because she always complained about her crappy camera. I'm starting to believe she did take it, because Erica is known for lying, and had my camera last. I've tried confronting her about it, but she just keeps denying it. Idk what to do, I'm in huge trouble if I don't find it by the end of summer.

just keep asking her: "do you have my camera? i can't seem to find it anywhere. i've checked everywhere & i STiLL can't seem to find it!" if she keeps saying no, tell your parents about the situation. they can talk to erica's parents for you. if they say erica does have the camera, & she has been lying to you all this time, then she probably isin't the best person to be a friend to. well i don't know her but stilll. just watch your back. i hope this works out & you do find your camera. This sounds kind of cliche, but I don't have any friends. I have acquatences (sp?) at school and really only one friend who goes to another school and she is going to another country in the summer. Its not that I'm unable to make friends. Most people that I meet like me and I like them, I'm quite friendly. I just never seem to become close with any of them. I used to be with a group of friends, but we're not in touch anymore. I don't want to be alone all summer, I was wondering of anyone could tell me where to meet new people that I could become friends with and stay in touch with. Any help along the lines of getting friends and keeping them would be very much appreciated. I'll rate high.

if you have acquantences, there are TONS of ways to turn them into friends ! call up the friends you aren't in touch with anymore, & see if they want to hang out with you. anyways, back to the acquantences (however you spell that!) -- well if there are people you know & you think they would make a good friend of yours, call them tooo ! along the lines of KEEPiNG your friends --if you have a fight with them or they grow apart, call them & talk it out. however, this probably shouldn't be done on AiM if you want it to sound sincere. i hope i helped! write back if you need anything else! i have been friends with tisha all my life and suddenly she got mad at me. she got mad when kyara and i were over at her house and i was planning to spend the night. i later found out that kyara wasnt allowed to sleep over b/c tisha's parents wouldnt let her. i figured that i would go home and kyara could stay and spend the night. this turned into a big ordeal and tisha got mad at me for inviting kyara over. when i invited her over, i thought that she was allowed to spend the night b/c tisha didnt say anything when i told her that kyara was spening the night. so they were both mad at me. so i left without saying goodbye. kyara forgave me that night, but tisha is still mad at me. i have tryed saying sorry but she wont accept it. what else should i do?

hmmm. well if tisha is a REAL friend, she will HAVE to forgive you. if she doesn't seem to be going along the path of forgiving you, try listening to HER side of the story. also talk to kyara & see how she thinks you should work this out. i hope this helped ! i hope everything works out okay & tisha stays your friend! losing friends is really painful & i hope it doesn't happen to you! ♥ katie

My dance studio is interested in creating a website to host information on it. How can I go about making one? It needs to be absolutely free. And preferably no ads.

I need something that will help make it look professional.

*websites teaching me how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

ok im only in 7th grade and i know that i wont be going on the senior trip for like 5 years but im just asking now...
well for the senior trip they always go to disney world and i really wanna go but we have to fly and i hate flying (never been on a plane and dont plan on going on one) but are planes really that bad i mean my mom said that she was on a plane and they hit REALLY bad turbulance...so for those of u that fly a lot do planes hit turbulance a lot or just sometimes and are plane rides scary?

well if you're afraid of flying..just like sit by people you know..espesially on the senior trip just dont worry because you will be surrounded by your friends! if they are real friends they will understand how you feel & help you through your fears. remember, probably the best, if not one of the best, ways to get over your fears is to actually FACE them. soo, don't be afraid, cuz if you don't take chances in life, you will never know what could of happened! i really hope my advice helped you! write back if you need anything else! ♥ katie

Im goig to a new school next year with my best friend, she is great and ive known her forever, but im a fraid that if i hang out w/ her alot that, i wont make alot of new friends. plz help!!!

we're going to cedar point on monday and i really really really WANT to go on a rollcercoaster but i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Scared!! all my friends are trying to help me but i dont know if i can do it. Last time, i almost broke out in hives and fainted cuz i was so scraed. what is some advice from former scared-people or anybody? Know anything i can repewat to amkeme more confident.. ugh i used to get all my icons on iconator.com cause there was soo many, but now i can't even get on the website. i type it in and it says loading for like, 10 mins. i was wondering if other people are having thid problem too. also, what are some other icon websites? besides mytheme and stuff because all they have is those ugly crappy cartoon ones, and i want ones that are actually good

yeaah.the same thing has happened to me a TON on iconator. this took me a while to figure out -- but -- it could be b/c you have a internet security thing going like -- norton interent security or spyware or something that is blocking you from the site. just like disable the security program for like 5 min or however long you are on iconator. it MiGHT work. hope it does! i hope i helped! ♥ katie

hey. i babysit this cute lil boy who is four. he is very good and i want to have a nice way to reward him for helping me alot. he helps clean the table and goes potty by himself. does anybody know anything i could give him or treat him to when he is good?

just ask HiM what HE wants. if this does not work, ask his parents for some ideas. they are the ones who know what he likes best. you might give him candy like a lot of people are saying, but, on the other hand, if he eats all the candy, he might get bored && not be intrested in it anymore. whatever you do, always tell him that he's doing a good job. (unless he's not doing a good job. lol.) good luckk!

I babysit an 11 year old boy and an 11 year old girl 3 days a week for 4 hours a day. The boy is very sweet, but the girl is a brat. She doesn't listen to me and always does mean stuff to me. She has poured water down my shirt and refused to help with stuff. She trys to make my job very difficult. I don't know why, since I'm very nice to her and I try to help her and do what she wants to do. My family is in a lot of debt so we need the money a lot. What should I do?

well i have a few suggestions for you. dont know if they'd help considering i dont babysit that much, but try them.

1. def. tell the parents of the childern you are babysitting about the bratty behavior of the girl. you may not want to, but, trust me, its the right thing to do && youll feel a LOT better once you do it. of course, tell them when you are alone and not with the girl b/c she might try && get back at you or something. i dont know.

2.ask the parents about the intrests of the girl. maybe you could like play a game or do a fun activty w/ her so she would get distraced && not want and bother you && maybe start to actutally LiKE you a little bit. just a suggestion. :)

3.try && have the 11 yr. old boy help you out! he knows his sister's tricks && he will know what to do to help you out.(hopefully.)

okay this is really, really, REALLY, really random, but, the BEST books to read in the summer are -- Summerland, Aquamarine, && Indigo. Theyre all great books that are related to summer! haha well hope i helped! ♥ katie

What exactly is an ipod shuffle? Is it still like an ipod only it shuffles songs? Im not sure

yeah it's kind of like that except it's smaller, has a different design, && only holds 120 songs. it's also much more lightweight && you can basically take it anywhere. yeah the main thing though is it plays songs in a random order, but, of course, you can always change the setting on the back to get it to play the songs in the order they are on your itunes account. the other main difference is there's no LCD screen. i hope i helped! ♥ katie

just like learn one section at a time. like first learn five or so lines..well the number may vary depending on the length of the lines you have to memorize..then learn the next section ;; and so on. it really works for me! i hope i helped! ♥ katie
