How long does poison ivy usually last?

If you're allergic to it, it lasts a pretty long time. But if not, about a week. Go to the doctor or pharmacy and get some cream for it, it will heal a lot quicker.

I'm having serious family problems. I've always lived with my mom and dad and little brother and recently things have become a little bit more difficult. My mom can home from her job as a stripper one night drunk and yelling and tried to beat up my dad. So my dad hit her really hard as he was pissed from his job at the mill that night and mom broke one of the windows in our van. (we live in out van) So my mom and dad have been very violent for a while and me and my little brother, Timmy, have been staying out of it. But one day Timmy accidently spilled some soap on the car floor when my mom was trying to cook and she got very angry and killed him with a kitchen knife. I was very sad. So I tried to run away from home but my dad found me outside a day later when I was starving and took me to his friends house where I was raped. My life was horrible. And still is. And my mom found out and starting beating me up for letting him do that. And one day while she was beating me up she pulled out that knife again and I fought her and grabbed it and stabbed her for my own defense. Then my dad came in and was gonna kill me but I got out and ran to the orphanage to find a home but they wouldn't take me as a murdered someone and they won't let in criminals. I told them it was in self defense but they wouldn't listen. Now I'm in the library on their computer on parol as I went to a juvinile delinquent center for murder. They say I'm going to have to have the death sentence when I'm 18. I'm 16 right now. How can I get out of this situation and get someone to believe me I murdered in defense? I have no proof.

Wow, you have a VERY screwed up life. And, well, there really isn't a way to fix it. You're screwed, you murdered and that's BAD.

i have a blood blister on my pinky toe, and it looks liek a little brown dot under my skin, how do i get rid of it?

As far as I know, they just go away on their own, and there isn't really a way to get rid of them. I've never had one, but my friend has.

what are some good ideas for gifts for my boyfriend (of 5 months) birthday?

Guys don't usually like mushy gifts, so definetly go for something more "guy friendly". I suggest a CD, or maybe some cologn(sp?), or like, if he plays sports, some kind of sports stuff, or a computer game, or a pocket knife. Or just throw him a little "bash" with some of his buds.

Okay, my problem is sometimes when I go over to my friends house and her dad is over there he'll greet me but yelling, "How ya doin?!" or something and then slapping my butt. It makes me really uncomfortable and I'm sure it's just a friendly gesture that doens't mean anything but I still think it isn't right? I'm afraid to tell him to stop tho and I havn't told my friend. What should I do?

Well, if he slaps your butt, that's definetly not good, it's like, sexual harrassment. If you're not comfortable going over there anymore, invite your friend to your house, and don't mention it. He'll get the idea once you stop coming over.

ok i already asked this qquestion once but im going to do it again and give more information.. i have a small bump on the inside of my pubic area & its itchy & sometimes irritated & sore.. ive never had with my boyfriend & he has no signs of STD's ..i have shaved down there but its been a while and sometimes i don't wear underware so there is a good chance it may be just an irritated sweat bump or something.. still i am scared, im going to the doctor next week just to make sure, does anyone have any suggestions to what might be causing this?

That's a good possibility that it might be a sweat bump, but still, go to the doctor, he'll tell you what's wrong in a second. And it's probably nothing. :)

My boyfriend and I have been going out for over a month and we don't really live close to each other like a 40 min. drive to get to his house.. but I can't drive so.. I haven't seen him as much as I have wanted to but we talk on the phone alot.. (except for one night when i got totally blown off so he could go and play card with his friends.. which was deff not cool..) but now one of my guy friends is all like joking about stuff loving me and flirting with me and idk I feel bad cause he's a good friend but I know I like my boyfriend so much more.. yet the less I see of him and the more I see of my guy friend it gets really hard to handle sometimes and it's crossed my mind to dump my boyfriend but really think I might be starting to have stong feelings tords him... how do I get myself out of the situation with my guy friend without ruining our friendship?

Just be honest with your friend, tell him you have a boyfriend and that you don't feel comfortable talking like that. And I think you may feel that way about your boyfriend because you haven't seen him. Long (or semi-long in this case) distance relationships aren't easy. Hope that helps.

I'm goiing into 8th grade and have never had a b/f and i think i no y. In school and in my neighborhood i'm constantly playing sports. I've always loved to be involved with the diff. kinds of sports and wen i'm playing(which is A LOT of the time) i'm mostly playing wit guys. So i've been known as "one of the guys" wen i'm playing basebal nd stuff. Since i like never do any of that gurlie stuff no guys have crushes on me(or even like me as a girl). Are there any ways I can SHOW them that Sports aren't my life and get them to take me seriously?

I've had a huge crush on this guy for almost a year now. He know's I like him, but he tries to ignore it like most guys do. He's in with the "popular" croud, but he's still acts really sweet and out-going and doesn't care what other people think. He waves at me a lot, he stares at me a lot, he plays with my hair and asks me to do stuff with him (in school, i.e. be his partner), and he also talks with me a lot more then other people. And just little stuff like that.

I know that a lot of people say "If you like someone, you automatically think they like you back", but I really think he likes me. But that's just me, and my friends think it's stupid to talk about, so does anyone have any adivce? Does he like me? o_O;

Well, did he act the same way before he knew you liked him? From what you've said, it sounds like he really does like you, but he could just be a flirty person. You could always talk to him about it, and just be like "I know you already know, but I really like you.
