Typically, I'm an anchor for the morning announcements at my high school, however I know I've failed to keep the viewer's attention.
Can I have some tips on how to be more personable?
ie: I always lose interest once the other person starts talking when I really should be flashing a smile at the camera during that time.
Also, what are some good ways to hold back laughter to avoid excess recording?

try to talk in an upbeat cheerful manner, and smile a lot for the camera. always look confident, never bored or insecure. try having some jokes or amusing comments to say to your audience, or interesting facts that will get their attention. and you have to remember, it's the school announcements. youre only going to be able to get so much attention. hope this helps.

there aren't any songs that specifically mention cousins that are friends, so your best bet would be to try songs that are about friendship in genereal, like "you've got a friend" by james taylor, "i'll be there for you" by the rembrandts, "true friend" by hannah montana, and "best friend" by queen. one song that's about family but not necessarily best friends is "we are family" by sister sledge. hope this helps.

whether ghosts are real or not is entirely up to you to decide. you will get a different answer from every person you ask.some people will say they have scientific proof, while others will say that the proof isn't accurate. however, it also depends on your definiton of a ghost. as i know it, a ghost is a "person" that is trapped in the place they died because they died in a terrible way or had something they still needed to do. they cannot leave the place they died. a spirit is a ghost that can move freely from place to place, and may still be here for other reasons. i believe in them because i can communicate with spirits, but plenty of people will say they can when they can't. so ultimately it's up to you to decide.

ok well i was fingered for the first time last weekend and it hurt like a mother and well 2 days later i started my period a week early but eh that didnt bother me much but it "ended" 3 days later like usual but then i was fingered and it started up for another day and then i waited a day and saw my bf again today and he fingered me and its going again but only a little bit WHY? is it normal? cuz its annoying the crap out of me (link)

its a little abnormal that it started again for only a day later on, however if youre just lightly bleeding now it may be because he broke your hymen when he fingered you. this wil cause bleeding. or, when he did it you might have gotten a cut or something of the sort.

water always is good, but you don't want the water to be too cold or else that will affect your voice. try to stay away from dairy the day you are singing. also, this may sound silly but cough drops are a great idea because they cover your throat, making it less likely to dry out. hope this helps.

make a list of things you like about both guys, and then see who has more qualities you like. it will be a hard decision to make, but you have to choose. it seems they know you are intersted in both of them and it's not coming in between their relationship yet, however if you keep hooking up with both then you will mess up their relationship. so as hard as it is try to make a choice soon. good luck.

On Monday my teacher warned my Eight Grade class that we are going to have a classroom spelling. Whoever passes it will go to the School Spelling Bee, which i am very excitd about, because i am a GREAT speller. Although I don't know what the words are going to be, I am very anxious, curious, and scared that I don't know how to spell a word because I never heard or seen it before.
Any tips on how I canbe good at Spelling Bees?
And also do you guys know where I can find the words that are frequently used in Spelling Bees? Either class spelling bees or school, or BOTH :)
I could really use your heklp for my advantage/benefits. I would gladly appreciate if you take your time to give me some advice and help me out so I will feel good & confident when it is my turn to spell, rather than freaking out.
Conclusion:
I REALLY WANT TO GET TO THE TOP AND WIN THE SCHOOL SPELLING BEE SINCE I DIDN'T WIN THE GEOGRAPHY BEE. I KNOW I NEED TO STUDY THE WORDS EACH DAY AND NOT CRAM ALL THE WORDS IN MY HEAD 3 DAYS BEFORE THE COMPETITION. BUT DO YOU GUYS KNOW ANY WAY HOW TO HELP ME OUT WITH WORDS? ANY TRICKS AND TIPS?

well... there is always the traditional method of reading words from the dictionary, but this takes a LONG time and it's something you need to start doing months before the spelling bee to prepare. so i wouldn't suggest this method. the best thing you can do is get Scripp's consolidated word list, because this has the actual words that will be chosen for the national spelling bee. you can find this by going to spellingbee.com, and then clicking on the icon that says study zone in the left hand side toolbar. scroll down about halfway, and you will see where you can click to download the entire list for free, or click on different parts of it and view it online. good luck.

it depends what type of dye you are talking about. if you bleached it you should definitely wait longer, it's a good idea to wait about six months between bleaches because it's very hard on hair. if it was regular dye you should wait about two months in between each, and if it was semi or demi permanent dye it's fine to do it again now, you can re-dye your hair automatically every time the color fades or dissapears entirely.

I have a boyfriend of 9 months. We spend alot of time together and what not. Good or bad, I don't know. But I think it may cause why I sometimes get irritated with him easily. I don't mean to be rude or snap at him, it just happens. I don't know why I do, do that though. It bothers me. Also, when I'm at lunch or whatever, people say something and I quickly react to it. I don't take peoples shit basically, but I stand behind what I believe.Like.. I only held a couple grudges on people and my friend doesn't think I should and it's funny how she forgave an old friend who punched her in the face, but I didn't forgive her for doing that and just be a bad friend in general. Yeah, that could be a stupid reason , but she does everything for a attention and what not, whatever she slapped me in 8th grade and I took it because she was suppose to be my bestfriend... but back to the point. a lot of people get irritated really easy, this is normal. there isn't a whole lot you can do to stop yourself from getting irritated at people, you just have to try to conrol your emotions and not react. try counting to ten, or going and getting involved in an activity that will calm you down. if it's possible, remove yourself from the situation. as for your boyfriend, when you've been dating someone for awhile it is quite common to get annoyed at them for little things. if it's something that he does that annoys you and he doesn't realize it, you could mention to him how you feel and ask him if he would mind trying to discontinue doing it. if it's just him in general, random little things, remind yourself of everything you do like about him to help you forget about the things you don't. and when you slip up and get mad at him just apologize. everyone makes mistakes. as long as he hears a sincere apology he should understand. good luck.

you put the glue on the back, but you stick it on your eyelash, not your eyelid. you press it on right wear your eyelash starts and then you can apply pressure to make sure it stays. different brands stay in for different periods of time depending on their quality, but you dont want to leave them on more than a day usually. when you take a shower you should be able to remove them with some hot water, and if you hvae more glue you should be able to re-use them again at another time.

I bought this maybeline transparent mascara and i was wondering, you dont' have to wash it out do you? it won't harm you or anything?
I never wore make up before but i only bought this. I know that you're supposed to wash off your make up but this si transparent and I wore it for an hour now And nothign really came out on a peice of paper because it's transparent.. (link)

mascara wont harm you if you leave it on. and, because it's transparent, you don't have to worry about the problems with regular mascara, like it getting on clothes and pillows and such. so, if you leave it on it should be fine, but still try to get it off every time you shower because it might start to irritate you a bit.

does anyone know how to take a good picture? because my boyfriend is always asking for pictures of me because we only see each other once a week and i said i would take some tonight and send them to him but i just don't know how to make my face look good!
im not trying to be shallow but i think im really pretty and have a pretty face but in pictures or at least ones i take myself i always manage to look bad. my bf wants pics anyway but i always feel like they dont look good. any tips??? and good, hott poses he will like a lot? thanx!!! :] (link)

some ideas that might help:
-try taking the pictures in black and white. this makes the picture not only look smoother and more flawless, but also more interesting.
-dont put yourself in the middle of the picture. it's more interesting if you are off to the side a bit.
-finally, try taking the pics from a different angle. for example, holding the camera above you and looking up. this angle usually makes people look really good.

How do I talk to my parents about wanting to go to boarding school in another country for my last two years of high school?
I'm geniunly miserable where I live right now and I was going to stick it out untill I finish school but I don't think I can.
I want to go back to the UK (which is where I was born) but my parents can't move back because of their business.
I'm very close to them but I want to talk to them about going to boarding school. How can I do this so they take me seriously and so that it doesn't turn into an argument? (any talks of going back to the UK usually end in an argument) (link)

the best way to go about this would be to get yourself prepared. you have to have information of the schools you have considered going to. you will nedd info about the schools such as price lists. have a good argument about why you want to go, why it will be beneficial to you and your education to go, and why they should let you go. ask them to sit down and talk to you about this. if you have a good argument prepared, information about the school, and talk about everything in a respectful manner then you should be able to avoid an argument. good luck.

it is highly unlikely that you will be able to get him for a party. he probably does not do those types of things, as he is an actor and not a musician or magician or something of that sort that could perform at a party. and even if he did it would be so incredibly expensive that it wouldn't even be possible unless your family members are millionaires. the only way to find out would probably be by finding an address to send fan mail to, and sending a letter asking the question. you won't get a personal response from him, but you will get an accurate response from the people who work for him. sorry.

this is possible, but not common. there are certain foods that you can eat that will help improve your vision, such as carrots. also, some people's eyesight naturally gets better over time.
