Help with iMessage?

Question Posted Saturday March 2 2013, 8:32 pm

My best friend has an iPhone 4 and I have an iPod Touch 5. We both text each other, but we want to use iMessage. It's on both of our devices.

But here's the problem; We can't get it to work. Everytime I try to send her a text, it says she isn't registered with iMessage. I checked on my Settings, and it says it's enabled and it says that on hers too. She said she always texts me on iMessage, but that'd make no sense. What's the problem?

Sometimes when someone isn't connected to wifi it doesn't send the text as an iMessage. See if your freidn is connected to a wifi or if she has wifi turned off or her internet connection is bad.

Hope that helps.
