Allergic To Almost All Shaving Creams.
No matter what brand of shaving cream I use the end result is the same. It burns and itches like hell while it's on my face and leaves my face red afterward. I know I must be allergic to a common ingredient in it but I'm not sure what.
Do you have any suggestions for what products I should use? Better yet any idea of what is in most shaving creams that could do this to my face?

Use a moisturizing conditioner (so long as you haven't had issues with that on your head). Women use it to shave... well everything when we run out of shaving cream. It actually works better than a lot of creams out there, I've found.
As far as what you may be allergic to... okay this sounds weird but are you lactose intolerant (AKA allergic to milk?) A lot of shaving creams contain milk... ]
I have a couple of suggestions for you.
1- Use an electric razor. No creams involved.
2- Though it may sound silly, use conditioner rather than a cream. (Yes, the conditioner that partners with shampoo...) It will prevent razor burn and moisturize your skin.
