ipod and my car AUX

okay so i want to plug my ipod into my car. i have a AUX plug in thing. Well the AUX plug in is like a deal LIKE but im not sure if it is exactly like you plug your headphones in. i don't understand how to plug it in. do i need an extra plug in thing? i don't get it. PLEASE HELP im desperate.

Well to do that, you will need a wire that has an end like your headphones(the part you plug into your ipod).

well it's a wire/cable that has two of those ends.
Go to an electronics store and ask the store, for a cable that can be used in the AUX plug. They will help you :)
