I'm not sure about any dances right now but you should bookmark Mississauga, Ontario's Web site at mississauga.ca as tht's where the city willlist events and programs for youth and adults.
There's a ton of programs and classes for teens to enroll in and usually some teen dance programs where they actually teach you dance. Go to that site and then hit epartments and then parks and rec or go here www.mississauga.ca/portal/residents/recreationandparks.
That link will tell her/you about all the programs for adults and teens she can get involved in. You can even phone the number on the site and ask about their catalogue listing them and the dates to enroll by. That's your best bet.
Also be sure to read the free newspapers that come to your door (Mississauga News) as if there's any kind of event for teens/adults they'll have a story, ad or list it in their regular listings section under meetings etc.
If your friend wants badly enough to go to dances with people she knows from online it's time to tell her either go do do it ot don't. Ask her if she prefers being at home or being at a dance? Get her to get up and out the door.
Tell her how much it's beginning to bother you. Let her know you want to be her friend but cannot entertain her online every night. There's tons of stuff she could be doing. Once she has the info from these sites and a list of programs for teens she has no excuse for staying home and e-mailing nightly back and forth. ]
