Draak answered Thursday October 14 2004, 11:29 pm: I had sort of the same problem, but mine was where my ligament that holds the bones together disintigrated. I didn't have a cast, but I wear a brace. I was told by my orthopaedic surgeon that it would take two-three years to get full use of the leg back, even after therapy. This might be different for someone younger, since they tend to heal faster than us old folks. You might want to give your doctor a call and ask him/her about your concerns. They might have some suggestions as to why it would be doing this, and/or what you can do to correct the problem. Just remember to keep up strength training in the leg and it should get better over time.
