24/f. My mom has been emotionally and psychologically abusing me for as long as I can remember. Because she is a narcissist, no one believes me in my family. First and foremost, I can't report emotional/psychological abuse to the police. However, it has affected me a great deal and has put my mental health in danger. She has stolen my identity, which could ideally put her bind bars for some time. But, if I did that, no one in my entire family would speak to me. My mom has BIG issues and I don't think jail is the answer. She needs to go to therapy. She needs to be forced to go to therapy. I have one family member, my cousin, who believes me. She's only 11 and she says that my mother is unstable and that she would consider the way she treats ...

Saw your victim-blaming on some poor girl's post asking for advice on what to do about her father cheating on her mom. She definitely SHOULD say something, and you are a horrible person for chiding HER. She's not at fault here. She had reason to believe something was not right, but it would have been wrong for her to voice that suspicion without proof... so she found proof. And you're chiding her for "invading his privacy". I hope everyone you ever date cheats on you; maybe then you'll get it.

This question is about my mom. Everywhere I turn to ask for help with verbal abuse regarding a parent, I always get stuck because most places that deal with abuse deal with relationships and marriages. It is rare that at almost 24, I am still living with my family. But, please let me explain. I come from a very, very controlling family. I almost went away for college, but they begged me to stay. Since then, I have not had the money to move out. Everything is SO expensive. I know that people have advised me to get a roommate. But, it's a lot easier said than done. So, I'm getting divorced. There were a ton of problems that I won't go into. But my soon-to-be-ex is holding onto some things that have me worried. First, I have bipolar disorder. During manic episodes, I had conversations with other men about things we should not talk about, ever. Things like bestiality and worse. These were the fantasies of these men. I wanted positive attention (which I seldom got from husband) and they wanted to feel safe talking about these things. Husband spied on my facebook and emails and saved these conversations. He said he'll delete them when the divorce is final. I was promised a couple very specific things in the divorce. He has since changed what he will agree to, taking away about $200 of my promised alimony ...

my boyfriend is an addict. He is acting strange and relizes on me for all his personal needs except he leaves as soon as he"s showered, shit, shaved. We hang out but its not for long.

we end up loitering, while he pursues his phone. He wont go places I want to go to or seek help from someone who can. My mother just said after using her vehicle that she'd report it stolen. Shes threatened me before with filing a false police report to say I was hitting her if I got mad.

I am from Bangladesh. I am married and have 2 kids. I have a friend in Hungary . Sometime we chat on skype and trade some pics. A friendly relation with him. He saved all my pics and vedio. From a computer service center these files are stolen . And a person named Alex trying to msg me even in my mobile with threat that he will post all this of I didn't contact with him. I remain silent . Not even answer any question.

I am a 13 girl and i have friend issues my best friend who is one of few is slipping away from me and i cant do anything about it because i know that i cant say anything about it other wise i will loose her. I have a couple other friends but they are not close to me.i go to a small school so people know that if i try to iscolate myself they will notice and care but i sort of don't want them to care. I just wish that no one could see me. Help i don't know what to do and if you could just tell me something that would be great

A few months ago I started to talk to a guy online and we were talking about having a relationship. About a month ago I abruptly stopped talking to him because I was slightly suspicious if he was legit. A week later, I was alone at my house when a man rang my doorbell and when no one answered, started to look in the windows. He didn't have a car with him. Yesterday, a car stopped in front of my house for at least two minutes. I don't know if I should report this because I'm a teen and I'm pretty scared.

My mom and dad divorced 2 years ago and she has been in a relationship with this guy for 10 months. He was always kind of off but I never thought he would actually hurt my mom. He has bipolar depression, drinks a lot, and does drugs. My mom is an alcoholic and when she drinks, he beats her. These 2 people lived with them and they told me about what he does. When I was 15 years old I dated a 16 year old boy for about only 6 months. He was very controling, had anger issues with many people, was a rebel, fighter, robber, and "wannabe" gang member. We done great together gor 2 yrs. Now im being treated as a child. Cut off fro ALL money. Put down constantly as he thinks im incapable of even talking. Fight fight fight. I am married for 3.5 years. My husband thinks i dont deserve him. I am too inferior too him. He is a doctorate nd i am only a diploma holder. Nd moreover he thinks i am dumb which probably i am. He married me under family pressure nd now asks me to leave him. I come from a very orthodox family ehich doesnt accepts divorced ladies. I love my husband a lot nd dont want to leave him. I am married w/2 girls 21 & 16. My oldest doesnt ever come around and I am told that is my fault. My husband calls me names, disables my car, when I can leave he shows up so I go back again. I recently had my 3rd back surgery, cant find a job, and am pathetic to my family so my girls go to his mother even on Mother`s Day!..I just want to fall asleep and die but do not know how to do it. How to celebrate Father's Day?

It's Father's day tomorrow (so advice needed quick!)
This Mother's Day my husband did something really nice for me so I feel obligated to return the favour.
However, yesterday he hit me in the face in front of our toddler and I'm not really feeling "into" it.
How should I celebrate?
1. Ignore Father's Day completely.
2. Give him the card and the one gift I've already gotten which is literally from the $ store.
3. Do something commensurate to what he did for me for Mother's Day.
