Can you be friends with an ex?

So this guy & I dated for a month, and somewhere along the line, my best friend texts him to break it off with me because she doesn't think he is deserving enough & that we will not make each other happy in the long run. He listens to her. After the break up, I ignore him for a week due to all the advice online about getting an ex back by no contact, talk/hang with his friends, & find him posting things about getting back together on sc. The guilt catches up to me, & I decide to meet up. We talk & conclude with 1. we're going to keep up communication & friendship 2. he is not sure if things are completely over, but wants time to be single to figure it out, & 3. he wants me to be happy. I have a crush on a boy. Yesterday we moved seats in first period. I got moved next to him. There is a dance coming up at our school. Now I'm scared that he might ask me and I'll answer wrong. What should I do if he does ask me? What should I do if he doesn't? (He is not shy.)

I am 16/F and my boyfriend and me is 8 months. We never really have problems or arguments unless its about the other gender speaking to me. hi, my boyfriend of 2 and a half month said I like you I love you and you're an amazing woman, I think. does this mean he's serious about me or just normal for a boys to say that in an early stage of relationship? what does he mean by amazing specially? he also says we're still getting to know each other. i like this guy but we have been talking on and off for years. i would like to hang out with him but right now, i do not feel so confident about it because i have gained some weight. My question is i am not sure if he likes me back. He sometimes initiates conversation and alot of times i do. he says he\'s shy in general and not just around girls.
we talk to each other a lot and he has found me on dating sites, then messages me on there. he sometimes can be ballsy then other times he isn\'t. he has hinted in the past to hang out or it seemed like he did.

What does my boyfriend mean when he said you’re an amazing woman? He said I like you, I love you because I think you’re an amazing woman. The thing is we’ve only dating for a 2 and a half months. Hello. 21/F. I felt like I needed to vent somewhere but I can never tell anyone my true feelings. I am already 21 y/o but I have never had a relationship with anyone, I have never even kissed. How to talk to my crush?

I only see him during one of my classes. He always goes to his group of friends to talk when he has free time, and I'm scared I'm being rude if I interupt them just to talk to him. I can't really ask him questions about the material since we don't play the same instrument. If I ever do figure out a way to talk to him, how do I keep the convo going? I have really bad Social Anxiety so it's really hard for me to think if what to say next. Any tips on how to at least be in the talking phase with him?

I'm a female who has been with both guys and girls. With girls, I like it in theory (meaning imagining myself dating, kissing, etc either a girl I know or an imaginary idealistic one) and in practice. I know for a fact I am a girl attracted to other girls. I like creating an idealistic man in my head and imagining dating him, but I can never meet a guy in real life who holds my interest. It's not just that they don't 100% meet my idealistic imagination, neither do the girls, but no matter what type of guy I go for, they can never sexually or romantically hold my interest. I've been with my boyfriend for quite some time. The only thing is that I moved out of state. I'm a flight attendant so I just would go visit on my days off.
Anyways, I feel like whenever I ask him to visit, he doesn't seem anywhere near excited and tells me reasons why he can't come visit. He's on my flight benefits so money isn't an issue.
Before he was in school, so I never asked him to visit. I was completely understanding and wouldn't want to take him away on his only days off.

Me and this guy have been talking and hanging out fora few months months. I've told him about my depression and he's been really understanding and supportive, but I was wondering if I should tell him about me hurting myself. Would it be a good/bad idea? Should I trust telling him that? What if he reacts in a bad way?
(I am taking mood stabilizers and antidepressants PLUS going to therapy. I don't need any advice or help on dealing with self harm, but I appreciate the concern.)

Hi, we’ve been dating for 2 months and he has started to call me baby and darling but he uses baby more often. Also, he says you’re a fascinating girl. What is he trying to say? Is this a positive thing to a good relationship. I mean we have said I love you to each other even though it’s only been 2 months of dating. So, calling baby and using fascinating means he loves me?? My girlfriend seems turned on by my impotence

I'm 16 and taking medication for anxiety. While the drug I'm on is definitely helping, it's totally killed my ability to get an erection. I'm sure it's the drug as impotence is listed as one of the possible side effects.
I told my girlfriend about my situation. We'd been talking about having sex before I started taking it, so I felt I had to tell her. I was worried she wouldn't take it well, but the truth is she seemed turned on by the news. And since then she's let me go farther in our makeout sessions than ever before and seems to enjoy them a lot more.
Maybe this is all in my head, but maybe it isn't. If it isn't, why would someone be turned on by having an impotent boyfriend? I'm really confused and trying to figure this one out.
