Should I start a YouTube channel?

I've been singing for a couple of years now, mainly in church and at a couple of weddings every now and then. Over the years I can tell I've gotten a lot better from when I first started and recently I've had this idea to start my own YouTube channel. The problem is, everytime I actually get ready to create it, I start having doubts. I'm not sure if its confidence I'm lacking or not. I'll be so sure about it one day and the next I'll feel like it's a stupid idea and I shouldn't even bother. I really want to try and see how it'll turn out, but at the moment I'm not so sure. What should I do?

talent show duet

my friend and I are doing the talent show, and we don't know what song to sing,
were looking for:
- good acoustic versions of (not so recent) pop songs
- theatrical songs that are not too upbeat
- female duets
- harmonizing songs
plz help us, we have to audition next week

I can't play my instrument right

I play a Baritone bass clef in my school band, and I'm horrible at it. I do try to practice it, but I can't practice unless I have somebody else playing the same rhythm as me. I know I just need to practice, but I'm kind of in a pickle here. I have to play a solo in less than a month, and I can't play it, and I can't back out of it now. I'm freaking out and I don't know what to do! Asking my band teacher for help is out of the question cause if he knew that I still can't play it, then he'll be fearious! I don't really have any friends that can practice with me either, please help!

so in our pe lesson we have to perform some rope skipping techniques so like a rope skipping routine. the problem is that we need to have a background song for our routine and i was thinking which song should i choose for an upbeat but not really fast routine. below are my choices:

Punk rock project, what are your favorites?

I'm doing a project for my Music History class, and I have to do the history of punk and pick a few artists and songs to feature. Any suggestions? I'm trying to encompass the whole of punk, but for a genre that started as a subgenre itself, it has a lot of variety. There's the obvious classic punk stuff that has to be included, and the history I can do pretty much just from memory (of what I've read over time), but to have to eliminate songs and bands from my list!

SInging Lessons??

Hi, I'm 14 (almost 15), and I want to be a proffesional singer when I grow up (I know, SO unrealistic *sarcasm*). Anyway, I took singing lessons a year ago, and I quit on my own will because I didn't like the songs I had to sing to stretch my voice.
I know that is a REALLY REALLY stupid reason to quit, and I realized it quick after. I asked my mom if I could take singing lessons again and she said no.
One, for the fact that I myself quit them, and two, my mom just gave birth to my baby brother and he's two weeks old and she doesn't want "screaming" (my singing) in the house (I have a loud voice).
My mom told me if I can find someone who has their own studio, I can take the lessons.

so my favorite singer ALWAYS notices his fans. maybe its because he isnt really famous and is able to take time to respond to fans and such.
i want a hobby that i can do that i can make something in dedication to him and show him. you know, like drawing. but not that because i suck so much at it. please help me find a hobby that i can make to dedicate to him.
or something like quote art where i can put some lyrics to his songs on a canvas, but i really dont want to do that either.
any more suggestions, please and thank you!!!

Trying to get concert tickets?

So I found out sleeping with sirens was performing at madison squared garden december 1st, and blessthefall the emporuim.
1. Will these bands be playing songs from their newest album (stupid question ik but i want to make sure I know what songs I'm going to have to explain to my parents because I'm 12 and obviously my mom will have to come)
2. Where can I get the cheapest tickets
3. How long do you think they'll both take because I have school the next day

How to write a screamo song?

Ok before every metal head runs in to correct me, I'm talking about bands like Peirce the Veil, Alesana, and Asking Alexandria as screamo. And screamo is the most understood term so deal with it. Anyway I'm wondering how to write a screamo song, and what makes a band screamo?

Want to make a piano medley

I'm playing Canon in D on piano for a wedding on Saturday, and a few months ago the bride had 3 songs she wanted me to learn to play while the guests arrive.
Summer got busy, and I can't read notes, so in order to learn them I have to know the song well enough to figure it out and/or either watching someone else play it 20 times or watching a tutorial on youtube. So it was pretty hard...
She asked me if I could play one song I've known for years so it isn't a problem, and if I could learn Beautiful by A-kon which I did and my mother (A very, very good pianist before she got arthritis) says I play both of those and Canon in D very well.
But as for the other songs...

Wherever you're living, you're probably going to be familiar with the show "The Amazing Race"?
If not, then worry not, this has NOTHING to do with that.

Ok, i don't like rock because i can't here what they are saying and it's pretty much three cords on a guitar while screaming. I like pop in the sense it isn't too hardcore, but i also don't like how a majority of the artists don't sing about passionate things. Except for p!nk, Imagine Dragons, One Republic, etc. So what genre is good for me?

Hi, I'm a 16 year old girl. I've been singing ever since I was 5 and it's always been my dream to make it big someday. I made a music video the other day and I'm not trying to brag but I got lots of likes on it and great compliments too. Someone suggested that I try out for American Idol. They're supposed to be at my states capital this August. I want to try out so bad but I know my stage fright would completely fry my chances. I have suffered from anxiety since I was 9. I'm currently not on medication for it but I'm supposed to have an appointment with my doctor soon. I'm not trying to put out a sob story or anything, I just have enough trouble as it is. My dad thinks the medication would help me, he also doesn't want me to rush things but...

why do people hate pop

I mean just because it's not old doesn't mean it's not good, a lot of pop artists (p!nk, Lady gaga, Mikey Cyrus, Demi Lavato, etc) don't use much or don't use any auto tune and write their own songs. Pop artists make their own songs and many do know how to play instruments, they also have great lessons like you should be true to yourself and follow your heart, and things could be hard but you need to persevere, rock and metal artists send messages you should....get drunk? Kill people? Love rock? I mean seriously what takes more talent, writing songs and playing a guitar or piano and write an uplifting song while adding in symbolism, putting on good shows, and trying to stick to your own view point while battling haters and society shunning...
