cutting ties with bad friends

25/f. I've been friends with this girl, let's call her Janet, since I was 17 years old. Since we met, she automatically labeled me as her best friend and since then, we started hanging out more and more. But, she doesn't really treat me like a best friend, so I really don't understand why I bear that title. She's done so many rude things, but this time, she really crossed the line. I happen to be adopted and I know my biological parents... she has made inappropriate comments about them and I found that to be way out of line. There was a lady that use to help me clean my house every week and I fired her immediately when she made an inappropriate comment about them as well, such as this whole stigma of "abandoning me." my close guy friend always gives me short but deep shoulder massages just smiling at me...now he doesn't like me like that, it has been established we are just friends, nothing more...well I asked him why does he do that whenever he sees me, he said I dunno and stared at me with seriousness.....

So lately I have been so tired of just socialising in general. My friends have told me I have changed, claiming that I have lost the spirit I usually had. This is because of many reasons. One of the main causes is meeting with two girls who are extremely clingy. To the point where they message everyday, and keep messaging if I do not reply. The first clingy girl I have met, I had ended my friendship with her completely, because she would bother me non stop and make me feel like shit when I dont talk to her. The second one is still going on to this day. She claims she needs mental support so I'm there for her as a guy friend. I'm in 7th grade. My friend (who is in 7th) has a friend in 8th. She's super annoying. She is always talking about how emo she is. I went through an emo phase in 6th grade, I mean I still wear black, listen to the music, etc and I don't think I'll ever shake off the scene queen image I created for myself, but I stopped trying which made everyone categorize me farther into emo. I also obsess over tv shows, books, and movies which I guess doesn't help. But holy shit, was I really that annoying because fuck, she says every two seconds how she's an emo fangirl. And every time she does/doesn't do something she says she did/didn't do it because she's emo. Think of Raven and Tara and that's her. How do I make her stop?

Tips on making a solid group of friends?

So highschool is over for me next month and i couldnt be anymore happier everyone was so judgemental there. Anyways in high school i didnt really have that solid group of friends i would have a bunch of acquaintances from different groups but i never really had that go to group, only because ive always felt like i didnt belong anywhere. Everytime i made friends no matter what i do i would always end up the third friend (its third wheeling two best friends) you know that friend where theres no room for them on the sidewalk? One year ago my best male friend (of many years) told me his feelings were not exactly 'friendly', but I couldn't reciprocate. I also have a boyfriend whom I love and had been with for 3 years.
I never had romantic feelings for my friend, but I am very attached to him as I have always wanted a brother or sister and he filled this void, emotionally speaking, exactly like a brother. We'd see each other almost daily and have fun, and be there for each other. Should I go to friends 21st?

So its my friends 21st birthday this weekend except I'm unsure I can go.
Firstly because she is a Uni friend and I am home to celebrate Easter. I don't drive so I would have to rely on my parents to drive me to her birthday (there and back). Something I'd feel bad doing.
Also, the party is at a Shisha bar and I don't smoke Shisha. Another one of my uni friends turned down the friend whose birthday it is, because she said she does not smoke. I have been to this bar before and have felt uncomfortable for not smoking.
However, it is my friends 21st birthday, and I am worried not going will mean she will not come to my celebrations later on in the year.
What do i do?

I have a friend, we have been friends since Pre-K. I have always had strong feelings for him, but I never saw him interested in being anything more than friends. Now he claims that he likes a girl in our school and grade but he couldn't tell me who because of 1 thing. So, naturally, I asked him what that 1 thing was and he said he couldn't say. I think his friends know who he likes, but he wouldn't tell me. Finally I pestered him enough and he told me he liked a girl at our school named Lauren Freeman, but I checked the directory and there is no one named Lauren...do you think it's me? I am 16 and I'm a female. i moved to a new town about 8 months ago and I've made amazing new friends and I love them. My best friend from my old town gets jealous of my new friends and she was being rude to one of my new friends online so I defended my new friends and not her. I called her immature and she is very upset with me now. How should I tell her it was her fault and she shouldn't have been rude? I don't want to apologize because I feel I did nothing wrong

I (17 F) have a great group of 4 best friends. They are my only friends, and the only friends I need because they are so loving and supportive. Except for one thing: we never talk seriously about boys. We have a couple of times, but only in a hypothetical manner, like what do you think is cute, or what qualities do you like.
The problem is, I have a crush on this guy. I've had this crush for a few years. I told my friends once near the beginning, and they laughed and told me we would make an awkward couple. so i have 2 friends, A, and B. A and I are closer and but B still counts as our best friend. so the thing is whenever we 3 are together, A kept on trying to be in the middle and keeps talking to B as if she wants B only to herself, so i feel kind of isolated. besides, i dont want B to feel closer to A than me, because it is not fair, it would be better if we like each other fairly.
