I think you were misled

Posted Thursday April 16 2015, 12:03 am

This is in regards to my last post about my friend from Japan that has ignored me the first time I said no to his love. I don't believe that his behavior rates bullying. Unless he's telling me to be with him or he'll post negative comments/information about me online he's desperate and/or clingy. He doesn't bully me and I felt very uncomfortable reading the advice you gave me. I understand it's your opinion, but you took my post completely the wrong way.
I don't feel bullied by him and he hasn't attacked me in any way at all. It's more along the line of a minor obsession. This may not be a question, but I wanted to make things a little more understandable.

Science Fair and Pinterest projects.

Posted Monday April 13 2015, 5:01 pm

Ok let me go into detail so you can get a good idea its long though.

Just yesterday I had a presentation and I made DIY rainbow roses, they mixed spin some color and started to wilt. They weren't as vivid as I expected but they were fair I got this idea from pinterest. Before that I got another idea ( Pinterest also). It was a confetti bowl, I made it and it basically fell apart not presentable glue glob mess ( only a for fun craft). Then I tried chocolate bowls and chocolate lace bowls both worked until I ruined them myself. So some of the pinterest things work and some don't. All of the posts seem so neat! Even ones that seem impossible are gorgeous. I have a science fair next year had it this year but it is optional. I de...

Qualifications not recognised?

Posted Saturday April 11 2015, 11:50 pm

I served in the army for 10 years as a REME Armourer. By the time I left, I had become a class 1 Armourer, responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance and servicing of all small arms and pistols, machine guns, mortars, Milan missile sytem, warrior turrets and 30mm rarden cannon.
I hoped to work as a gunsmith but was told, all my qualifications and experience was not recognised as a civilian gunsmith. I have searched on line for courses to take, to become qualified, but there are none in Uk. Is the information I was given true, my experience in the repair and maintenance of all these different weapons count for nothing? If so, where can I get the qualifications to be recognised? Why are military qualifications not recognised? ...

Where to go to get my book published?

Posted Saturday April 11 2015, 8:00 pm

13/f <-- probably doesn't matter.

Hi, I've written a book recently which I am really proud of. It's kind of a romance/action book if that helps. I want to get it published but I don't know where to start. I've checked the internet but I don't know who to trust. Any ideas?

I really want it to be sucessful too. Honestly, I wouldn't mind too much if it wasn't worldwide sucessful but good enough to help give my parents a bit of extra money or treat them. Wouldn't mind getting me a new laptop either but you don't care about that.

So, any tips on:
- Maybe getting an editor to make it better before publishing
- Places to get it published
- How to make it more sucessful

Thanks in advance :)

underserved aspirations

Posted Friday April 10 2015, 11:13 pm

I am seeking to compile a listing for my website http://www.FoolQuest.com , of available resources and support specifically pertinent to the most embryonic "kitchen table" inception stage or phase of entrepreneurial start up in innovative new venture creation, all from scratch. Any suggestions? This seems to be something underserved in the market and in the literature.

i keep on losing friends... help.

Posted Monday April 6 2015, 9:57 pm

Hey... Im kinda depressed from moving and losing friends. My whole life Ive moved and lost friends alot. At first I lived in a trailer. I moved into a small country house in the middle of no where. There I met my best friend. I stayed for a few years and we became closer than sisters. Much to my distress we then moved to a small city house in nashville where i became friends with Heaven and Avery who soon moved. When I was still there I befriended Alena and Elly. I moved back to the country house away from my city friends but back to my "sister." Soon afterwards I moved to tiny house in a small town where I befriended Whitney Maddie Noelia and Keondria. Within months I moved to an average sized house in a big city. I then became f...

I have a few questions

Posted Thursday April 2 2015, 4:50 pm

I am McKenzie and I have a few questions so I apologize for it being so lengthy.
So this kid in our class ( A Guy) was sniffing markers ( sharpies), Snorting smarties and candy. Smelling hand sanitizer. Evidently he got high off of this. He got a really bad head ache like a migraine and he was about to cry.
Which he isn't one to cry. At first I thought it was just normal he always gets headaches ( I didn't know about the high at the time). Then I heard. He walked funny and was acting drunk. I guess about 30-45 minutes later he felt better and we all took a restroom break. He went and he was talking to someone in the other stall. Which I know cuz the kid in the stall told me the next part. He was laughing and then he stopped. L...

Conditioning lemon out of hair?

Posted Wednesday April 1 2015, 10:44 am

Hi guys! I'm 16/female, and gave dirty blonde hair, and was wanting to use a trick I recently heard of to make it blonder, by adding lemon judge and water to my hair. From where I heard, they said to leave it in your hair and stay in the sun for 30-60 minutes, then condition out. Is the conditioning necuessary? Because if I get out in the sun, I would most likely be with friends, and not get the chance to condition out till the next morning modst likely. Would it still be good to use, or should I not do it? I don't really see why it has to be conditioned out in the first place.

Who is the real me?

Posted Wednesday March 25 2015, 7:40 pm

Lately I've been trying to find out who I am. I feel like I can never settle on one thing. I'm a sixteen year old female, and I'm having trouble finding out who the 'real' me is. There are days I feel emo, and only want black, and there are days I feel totally with the world and want to wear white with flowers in my hair, and there are days I go wild and try to look sexy, and there are days I feel like a tomboy and can't even stand to look at pink, and there are days I feel girly and want to do my hair up and put on something cute and girly. I'm having trouble finding out who I am. I tried taking a personality test online, but basically the answer is yes and no to all of them. Since that's clearly out of the question, how do I find out what...

How to Be a Good Writer and Comedian

Posted Wednesday March 25 2015, 4:57 am

I am 27 years old and I'm FINALLY about to get started on my dream job as a writer and a comedian. I know it sounds like a stupid dream, but I'm actually making it happen and I've got a good fall back plan.

Here are my questions. The first is how do I choose just one style of comedy I want to do? It's been said to me, or at least implied, that actors do their best when they choose one style to specialize in and choose their inspiration from that style. I can't decide what I want to do. As for inspiration or influences I've had, there have been many. I love Phil Hartman, John Ritter, Mike Myers, David Spade, John Belushi, Robin Williams, and Chris Farley. A lot of those guys have different styles. Hartman although a nice guy i...

How to Be the Best Person I Can Be

Posted Wednesday March 25 2015, 12:08 am

I have friends, but I'd like to have a lot more. I'd like to have as many as possible and to feel like I've made a difference in as many lives as I can. I just want to make an impact in people's lives and I want to be liked by a lot of people. I don't mean to sound desperate or needy or anything, I've just been inspired by one of my role models, a guy named Phil, to try to commit as many acts of kindness as I can, rather than stopping at being nice enough.

My question is about how to go about it. I want to do nice things for people without looking like I'm trying too hard, but how? Do I look for nice things to do? Should I do things like bring my classmates and coworkers cookies or coffee or something like that? Should I only...

What hair product will work best for my hair?

Posted Tuesday March 24 2015, 6:58 pm

In a couple of months I will be going to camp, and last year, I forgot my hair products, and my hair was so frizzy it was embarrassing. I'm already getting a head start buying lots of hair products to prevent the disaster from last time. I want a curl lotion to put in my hair and I'm trying to decide between two of them, but I can only buy one and I've never tried either so I don't know which would be the best buy. There's the one by Marc Anthony called strictly curls that says is used in salons, and there is also curls up. Curls up has really good reviews, but the other hasn't been out very long, so I didn't find that many reviews. I would like advice from someone who has tried both products. My hair is extreme in all of these: long, thick, and frizzy. Which would do best for my hair?

How to attract sunlight to hair

Posted Tuesday March 24 2015, 6:51 pm

I used to have bright blonde hair, just lately thanks to the hairspray I use my hair is more brown than blonde. I'm going to start using sheer blonde hairspray since it sprays on clear without changing the color more, but I'm wondering how I could get my blonde hair back? I heard sunlight was good for it, so is there any hair product I could use that would attract sunlight? It doesn't even have to be a hair products as long as t doesn't damage my hair.

Worried Family Won't Be Happy About My Will

Posted Saturday March 14 2015, 8:53 pm

I know this is a bit morbid and possibly not something people want to talk about, but I'm worried that my family will hate some of the arrangements I plan to make in my will.

First, I plan to leave custody of my children to my parents and if they for whatever reason can't take them, I plan to leave them with my husband's brother and his wife. My in laws probably won't be happy that my parents are my first choice, but my parents live in town so the kids wouldn't have to change schools and move away. The in laws and my sister probably won't be happy that I'm choosing my brother in law to take them if my parents can't, but I'm worried that the in laws can't keep up with them and I don't trust my sister's husband. He's not the wo...

I've Had The Same Haircut Basically My Whole Life?

Posted Tuesday March 10 2015, 1:22 pm

For As Long As I Can Remember, I've Always Had Bangs. They Go Straight Down My Forehead (Above My Eyes). When I Was Younger, I Would Just Grow Out My Hair And Cut It Every Now And Then. Now, I Cut It Quite Short (Or Medium Length?) To Probably 2 or 3 Inches Above Where My Elbows Are. And I Added Short Layers. I Personally Think It's Cute And Casual, And I Get Compliments On It Too. But I'm A Freshman In High School Now. Is It Weird To Have Bangs For That Long?

Am I A Liar, Too?

Posted Tuesday March 10 2015, 12:37 am

24/F

Sometimes I feel like I am turning out like my mother, which terrifies me.

She’s a compulsive liar and most recently told me horrible lies about her own mother, after I tried telling her that she needs to learn to cherish her while she still has a chance. Since, she will regret not doing so.

My boyfriend’s mother grew up knowing something painful and it followed into her adult years. Her mother was married to her father, who my boyfriend's mom was close to, but from the time that she was eight years old, her mother was seeing another man and dated him for 46 years while still married to her father. Yet, her mother recently passed away, and she managed to have a close relationship with ...

Acne scars: How do you get rid of them?

Posted Wednesday February 25 2015, 5:37 pm

Does anyone have any methods of getting rid of old acne scars? I've been using dark spot correctors for a long time and it doesn't seem to help. I even use sunscreen whenever I go out to prevent it from darkening. I've tried a lot of home methods like lemon juice, etc. but nothing works. I have brown skin so they're highly noticeable even under my makeup. I try not to use thickening makeup too to prevent new pimples from coming but it seems like such a tight balance that I have to maintain.

What Should I Do?

Posted Monday February 23 2015, 1:34 am

Today I was walking to my grandmother's house and when I was about 2 minutes away, a guy in a white truck pulled up and said hi. He claimed that he saw me at the store, but I did not recognize him at all. He gave me his card with his cell phone number on it and asked me if i would promise to text him later on in the day. I didn't text him, but my main question is, should I be concerned?
