okay, im a nineteen year old female and i really want a baby. im NOT old enough, and i know im not ready, but i cant help wanting one. there is no way that i will have one right now, because i dont want to hurt the chances of my child's future, so i WIll wait to have a child. i was just wondering if anyone has ever felt the same excitement for motherhood so young, like me. and, if you have, i was wondering how you deal with it, because its been making me sad lately. No, you're not old enough, yes, it's normal. I met my fiance when I was 17 and started having the baby itch at 21. We're waiting another year (I'm 22 and he's 28 now) and then we'll start trying. We're financially stable and ready for a child. I used to go and take my brother's kids out for the day, that usually was enough to scare me into not wanting them for a LONG time.
