i'm 17 and my boyfriend is 19. we've been going out for almost two years now. i really do love him. he graduated last year. he told me multiple times he was going to college but every time kept making up different excuses. i could tell he wasn't serious about it but i always believed him that he would eventually go. a few weeks ago he told me he is not going. i was completely devastated that he basically lied to me for year, although he still says he was planning on going. anyway, i plan on staying with him for a long time. but what bothers me is if our relationship continues for awhile, what job is he going to have? i'm not trying to be greedy or anything, it just scares me. i guess i need stability. i'm not sure what my exact question is, but what would you do if you were me? i would just tell him how you feel(since you're planning on being with him for a long time)and see if he understands that you don't like the fact that he's not going.
