I live in a dorm and I am very happy with the way I have it set up. But, I'll be living at home this summer. I would like to fix up my room. I have a pretty good idea of how everything will end up, save for one thing.
Petunia is my beloved, albeit large stereo. The speakers about three feet tall and eight inches wide. The main section, which has two casette players, a clock radio, a record player, and a shelf for LPs, is about four feet tall and a foot and a half wide. It is ugly wood paneling. My room is a light peach color and most of the wood in my room is a dark, reddish oak but Petunia is a light yellowy brown, almost mustard colored, with black "grain". Horrible late 70's fake wood. If it wasn't for the record player, Petunia would still be in a yard sale, so I can't just get rid of it. It's also very fragile. What can I do to beautify Petunia? Something inexpensive and preferably impermament in case I need to remove the treatment when I finally get my own apartment (in three years probably). Keep in mind that I can put anything on top of the speakers but not the record player. (link)

Take the wood off. Paint it a dark color like black ( because it matches everything usually ).

Actually I've seen a muslim male and a christian female married and they were great together. They didn't talk about each other's religion too much though.

i have this friend claims to be a strong muslim, having a relationship with a christain, and he told her that he is tired of this country and want to move to another, the problem is that she thinks that if she dosent say yes then he'll leave her what do i do ?
please note , she went out with him knowing that one of her friends liked him, what do i do ?

She needs to sit down and them have a big talk about what they want to do in their lives and what is going to happen. If they talk it out, maybe the issue will be resolved. But when they talk they should be straight forward and honest with each other.

ok every time i try to upload a pic (not really of me, just like, a cute one of a cartoon or something) it doesnt work...
i go on google images and find something and then i copy and paste it into paint, and then say upload pic, and i find it...and then every time i go and say submit...it says the file is too big, even tho the pic is like, really small...whats up w/ that?

usually when you save it in paint it will be a .BMP file. Try saving it as a .JPG, then it will be small enough.

ok so i like this boy, right? and he is really hot and sweet and i talk to him sometimes in spanish class. i really wish i could speed up the process of becoming pals...friends...and hopefully bf/gf. I dont want to seem to desperate or weird during this process. Do you have any tips to catch his eye or say to him?

Start talking to him in class about Spanish or whatever. If you see him in the hall just say hi or something. Usually guys don't think you're weird if you just come out and say what you want. Actually, most guys prefer someone that is straight forward.

Ugh...okay I HATE my clothes. I went through this whole phase recently of "I care what everyone else thinks and my opinion doesnt matter". And that includes clothes. I wear the same old crappy polo tees from hollister and stupid jeans and stupid shoes. I just look like every other boring un-unique "prep". Well, i've finally grown out of this. I now want to start dressing like my personality which is edgy, unique, and artsy. I like rock/emo/indie music if it helps? I'm looking for some fashion tips (example...stuff like wearing your belt to the side, etc.) And some stores online I could check out to help me dress more "edgy". Also, i dont have alot of money. How can i rock out a plain polo? Any hair ideas? Makeup ideas? I hate dressing "preppy" when inside im not like that. THANKS! (link)

Check out Pacsun and Hot topic. I mean they can be expensive ( yeah i guess my budget is kinda high ) but usually you can check out Kohl's and some department stores and they should have what your looking for! :)

Me and my best guy friend have been going out on and off again. when we first realized we liked each other it was awesome, we went out for a couple months, then dated around for one month, then we were back on for a few months and now we're off again. however it still feels like we're going out, he still says i love you and he comes over and we still do everything as if we were going out. but i ask him why dont we just go out with each other and he doesn't want to. it's not even that he's interested in other girls or anything. he tells me he just needs time, but why does he need time when we're still doing the same stuff? I think maybe this guy doesn't want a commitment right now. Although he isn't really interested in other girls he may want to feel freedom and maybe he just likes to be single.
