You know when you have a baby, I was wondering what traits they get, like hair, eyes ect. from the partners. So far my mom tells me that the guys jeans are more dominate than the girls, is that really true? =O (link)

Show them that you are serious. Don't go there and feeling already beaten up. And make male friends.. Many times this works.. though sometimes it doesn't but don't ever stop trying

Hi, I am 17f and I just broke my foot at the beggining of summer. Usually I would have my job at the local grocery store, be able to take my dog for walks, go out with friends, and go visit people, but with a broken foot that is hard to do...
Now, I am stuck inside and though I have some hobbies (drawing, crocheting, sewing, baking, designing) I feel as if I need something more to do. Things get boring after a while. Most of my friends are out having fun, working, or are away. Without crutches I can stand up for about fifteen minutes before I need to sit, so I was able to make muffins the other day (Still a little hard though). I feel I am getting lazy sitting around most the time. I know it sounds crazy cause I can do lots.. I just need ideas or thoughts on how I can have a fun summer. It sucks to be stuck inside!

You can always contact your friend family members of the same age and at weekend organise a sleepover with them. In the week days watch tv. play with pc... call some bff.... Try to not tell your friends that the day was boring. Let them talk listen to their experience of the day.
It may feel lonly but when listening imagine yourself in the same position the memories of the last summer. Hope that you will get better soon... and trust you. But you have to have at least a bit of a will.
When you are bored of doing the same thing... Go out in the balcony or at the window and watch the sunset or the stars.
More than that I can't help you. But don't get your hopes up

my best friend plays a sport with me, shes really good at it and so am I. But even when she makes a couple mistakes, she beats herself up about it. She has meltdowns and gets so upset. I used to be able to help her but now we live in different towns, but talk constantly and always visit each other. I just dont know what to do or say to help her. I've told her that it's not a big deal, she's good, etc. but nothing works. Help? Ps. she's had a bad past of cutting and problems with family. Shes getting over it now, and we are closer than ever, but Im convinced her past might tie into this situation. (link)

Trying to convince her that is no big deal is for nothing. I had a friend like that so I know how it feels. I started distracting her... by going to her favourite place. If she looks to happy it means that maybe it's not working but only you can see if it is working or not. A best friend for that.
I am sure that once you get her to understand that the past is past and that the future is still there to be created she will get better. If this doesn't work I don't know what to say to you... But I will ask around other cases like thius. So don't get hopes up.
never... P.s
