Hi. I'm 15, I weigh 120 pounds, I'm 5'4, and I do have to admit that the pounds are fat not muscle. But I wouldn't say I'm HUGE just chubby. Well my family are all very thin. My 17 yr. old sister is 110 pds, my 13 yr old sister is 100 pounds, my mom weighed 103 pounds when she was married at age 25! (the only reason she weighs more than me today is because she had kids), and my dad weighs...well he's a stick for a guy. I get my looks from my Aunt and Grandpa. I just recently joined a gym to help turn the fat to muscle more, to tone myself. But the problem lies in the family. They always call me fat. Like my sisters, if they get upset with me, they hurl the insult "your fat" at me. My parents both call me fat also. I don't think they mean any harm of it, but it really hurts. Every time someone says something I retreat to my room and cry. They don't know how much it hurts because I really do think I'm FAT. Finally today I just broke down crying and told them how I felt about them always calling me fat and my mom said I was just trying to get pity. What can I say to make them realise this really hurts my feelings when they all say this! The only persons who apologized for calling me fat is my little sister. I have 0 self esteem and I think this plays a small part in this. (link)

Your parents have to learn that you are who you are, and that they can't change you or manipulate you into someone you are not. Be strong in the fight to get your parent's respect, eventually, they will accept you for who you are. If you are feeling like you can't do anything, just work hard for it. You just have to bite the bullet and in the end it all results in what you wanted. YOu know... and you say you get your looks from your aunt and grandpa, talk to them about it. They might understand and help you out. Anyways, good luck!

so, there is this guy at my school he is really kool and really smart. Some of my friends know that i like him, and i dont know how many other people they have told, but i really want to be his friend. But when every i am talking to him all of my friends think that i am going to ask him out. i really just want to be his friend though, he probably thinks different though because of what my friends have said. and all we do is talk online, whenever is see him in the hall he never says hi, so i don't know how to become closer friends with him can you give me advice?

Well, let him know you like him yourself. Not online. If your friends think that you are going to ask him out whenever you are talking to him then just do it. He probably never says hi because he doesn't really know you that well. Most guys never really do that anyways unless they are good friends with that girl. Just be careful when you ask him. If he seems like the type who seems really nice and not like hes trying to avoid talking to you every time you talk to him personally, then there's a good chance he'll say yes. Just be yourself. Being a guy myself thats what i look for in a girl. DOn't be shy about things. I made that mistake of a girl i had a crush on and she ended up with another guy because i never told her how i felt. If he says no, it's okay to feel heartbroken. Just realize that God probably has someone else in store for you.

Im going to make this shrot I want to get him a cookie that says kiss kiss on it and i dont know if that is a good idea. I just want something that noone really does im not wierd or anything I just dont want the old hear is a box of chocolates happy valentines day i want a haha a cookie. funny. sort of memorable thing. okay i like this guy we'll call him erik so anyways erik and i have been good friends since school started and well now that he had found out that i liked him he flirts with me even more and gives me at least one hug everyday but you see the hug is longer then it is with the rest of the girls that gives him hugs and also he holds me really close to him so i really want to ask him to the dance this friday but im not sure how does anyone have any ideas so i possibly wont get rejected if he was just playin with me? sry for the length (link)

Well, is sort of depends on what YOU think and of how he acts. If you think he seems like the player type, then be cautious, cuz since im a guy, i know how "players" act and what they're really out for. They are going to want the hottest girl to go out with them, or the most popular. So be careful, and try not to be too obsessed with him because guys like that are bound too go looking after someone else.

yeah...uh i dont like to go in my room. its not fun. i dont know what to do w/ it. i cant repaint the walls or get a new bedspread....my walls are white, light blue, and yellow. i have a VERY high ceiling too.....im 13/f. any ideas??? (link)

hmm.... why dont you like put up some posters or maybe some like lacey stuff? just put up some of the stuff you like, that really helps.
